Beach Day Part 2

    "Raven! Raven it is I Starfire! Wake up please!" Starfire shouted pounding on the empath's door. Raven tiredly rolled over in bed and used her magic to open her door. She watched as Starfire entered the room. "What do you need Starfire?" Raven asked, irritated at being woke up. "Nothing, it is simply time to start the day, if you wish to have the breakfast I suggest that you get up now, before Cyborg and Beast Boy start the arguing." Starfire replied. "Alright just give me a moment to get dressed." Raven said, getting out of bed. "Okay friend I shall wait outside." Starfire said exiting the room. "Yeah you do that." Raven mumbles once the door had closed. Stretching, Raven went to her closet and grabbed a leotard and cloak as well as a belt and boots and quickly dressed. She then brushed her hair and teeth. Finally after clipping her communicator to her belt she opened her door. "Okay Star Let's go eat." Raven said catching the Tamaranian's attention. "Yes let us go enjoy the breakfast!" Starfire exclaimed.

The girls were able to eat their breakfast without any interruptions from the boys as they were not awake yet. Raven has a mug of honey ginger tea and an apple fritter. Starfire made some pancakes which she promptly smothered in mustard. Raven was just finishing her tea when the common room doors opened revealing a bleary Beast Boy and yawning Cyborg. "Where is Robin?" Starfire asked. "Probably in the shower still. You know how the porcupine head likes to get up at the crack of dawn and train before hitting the showers. I'm sure he'll be here any moment." Cyborg assures as he and Beast Boy made their way to the kitchen. Just then the common rooms doors opened yet again revealing the team's fearless leader. "Speak of the devil..." Raven muttered. "Good morning Robin!" Starfire greeted kissing her boyfriend on the cheek. After fighting The Brotherhood of Evil Robin seemed to realize just how important Starfire was to him and how he loved her. So he asked her on a date to which she happily agreed and they've been together ever since. "Oh friends I am most excited!" Starfire exclaimed. "Why?" Cyborg asked. "Because the bash of the beach to celebrate our victory over The Brotherhood of Evil is today!" Starfire gushed. "Speaking of which, why are we having a party now? Its been over a month since we took them down." Raven points out. "The reason we're having it now is because after I split the rest of the Titans into teams they had to build their own towers and learn how to be a team. Everyone has just finished their towers and adjusted to each other." Robin explained to the empath. Raven just nodded in understanding. "Speaking of the party, what time does it start?" Beast Boy asked. "3:00." Robin replied. Simultaneously the group turned to look at the clock,it read 10:45. "Wow I guess we all slept in late." Cyborg observed. "Indeed." Raven agreed.
"But we still have plenty of time before the bash." Beast Boy pointed out. "Are you guys thinking what I'm thinking?" Cyborg asked. "Free day!" Starfire, Beast Boy and Raven shouted. "Combat practice!" Robin shouted at the same time, earning several glares. "So, free day it is." Robin said. "Yay! Come Robin I wish to watch the movies and do the cuddling." Starfire ordered, grabbing his arm and dragging him towards the couch. "Whipped." Cyborg and Beast Boy said at the same time. Rave couldn't help the grin that spread across her face at how true that was. Glancing around the room Raven's eyes met Beast Boy's whose widened at her. It was then that Raven realized she was still grinning. She waited for the wise crack or teasing to come but instead Beast Boy just grinned back. "Yo grass stain! Wanna hit the arcade?" Cyborg called, breaking the moment. "Huh? Oh sure let's go." Beast Boy agreed. Before the elevator doors closed, Beast Boy shot Raven one more smile that warmed her heart. Raven was about to join Starfire and Robin on the couch, but after seeing them making out she opted to go to her room instead. Raven had finished the novel she was reading yesterday so she decided to pick out a different one. After browsing through her collection Raven finally settled on one of her favorites, Redeemed by PC and Kristen Cast. It was the last book in The House of Night Series, which Raven owned. But this one was her favorite. Halfway through the book Raven fell asleep.

When Raven next awoke it was due to Starfire knocking on her door once again. "Raven? Raven we need to get dressed the party will be staring soon. Titans east has already arrived. Let me in please." Starfire explained. Raven opened her door. Starfire swept in the room, bikini in her hands. "Alright let's do this." Raven said going to her closet and grabbing her own bikini. Heading to her bathroom, Raven quickly puts on the swimsuit.  After running a brush through her now shoulder length hair, Raven departs from the bathroom in time to see Starfire putting her hair up into a sleek ponytail. "Oh my Raven you look beautiful." Starfire compliments her. "Thanks Star so do you." Raven returns. "Well there is a party waiting for us. We will go now, yes?" The alien asks. "Yeah let's go."
