"No." Raven told Starfire for the 5th time. "But friend Raven, everyone else is going, even the honorary Titans. It will be the fun." Starfire said. The Titans were throwing a beach bash to celebrate the defeat of The Brotherhood of Evil and Starfire had been trying to get Raven to go to the mall to buy a bikini ever since. "Starfire no. I won't even be swimming so what's the point of a swimsuit?" Raven asked. "Friend Raven the bikini is not just for the swimming, it is for the showing off as well. It will grab the attention from the boys yes?" Starfire said giggling. "And just what boy would I possibly want to pay attention to me?" Raven asked. Starfire was not stupid, she had seen the longing glances between the empath and the green shapeshifter. It was plain as day to Starfire that they wanted each other. They just needed a little nudge. "It does not matter which boy's interest you catch, it is about the satisfaction of knowing you are able to do such a thing." Starfire explained, not wanting to voice her opinions on the empath and the shapeshifter. "No Starfire. I'm sorry but no." Raven refused again. Starfire was very frustrated. "Fine, if you will not agree when I ask you nicely I will have to resort to threatening. If you do not buy the bikini and wear it with me I will have no choice but to release the photo of you wearing the shirt with Beast Boy's face on it." Starfire threatened. "You wouldn't dare!" Raven gasped. "I would very much dare." Starfire replied staring the empath in the eyes. "Fine!" Raven agreed. "Oh glorious! Come we must go now!" Starfire squealed, grabbing Raven by the arm and pulling her off of the couch. "Wait Starfire, I was on the last chapter!" Raven exclaimed almost dropping her book. "No time for reading. Boys Raven and I will be back later, we are taking the T-Car!" Starfire yelled. Then before Cyborg could come and tell them no, the pair hastily made their way to the garage.

"Y'all aren't taking my car!" Cyborg exclaimed, to an empty living room. "Um dude they're already gone." Beast Boy said from behind him. "I know that grass stain." Cyborg said. "Dude! Do you wanna play mega monkeys 3?" Beast Boy asks. "You're on BB." Cyborg replied. Firing up the game system the two Titans began to battle it out.

"How does this one look?" Starfire asks Raven as she models yet another swimsuit, this one green and purple striped. "It looks great Starfire." Raven replied in a bored voice not bothering to look up from her book. "Are you the sure? Perhaps the stripes are a bit too much yes?" Starfire asks, eyeing herself in the mirror critically. "Whatever you say." Raven said, nose still in her book. When Starfire noticed this she became very angry. "Friend Raven! You have not looked up from that book once today! You have not looked at any of the swimsuits I have been trying on nor have you actually heard a word I have spoken! You are being the rude and inconsiderate! It is also hurtful to my feelings." Starfire ranted, eyes glowing.
Raven immediately felt guilty. "I'm sorry Starfire. You have my full attention now." Raven said. "Good, I am going to try on one last bikini and if I come out and see you reading that book I will disentigrate it with my star bolts." Starfire said firmly. Raven just nodded. A few minutes later,Starfire came out in a sequined, purple bikini, that left very little to the imagination. "What do you think?" Starfire asked Raven, pleased to see the empath was not reading her book. "It looks great on you Starfire." Raven said honestly. "Then this is the one?" Starfire asked. "That's definitely the one." Raven confirmed allowing a small smile to grace her lips. "Glorious! I will go change and then we shall begin searching for a bikini for you." Starfire said happily.  Raven sighed, not looking forward to it one bit. "Great..."

"Take that grass stain!" Cyborg exclaimed. "Eat my dust tin can!" Beast Boy shot back. Robin walked into the living room, pausing to see who was winning. "Where's Starfire?" Robin asked, startling the squabbling friends. "Dunno, she and Raven went somewhere." Beast Boy answered, tongue poking out as he pulled his car in front of Cyborg's. "Yeah, and they took the T-Car without my permission!" Cyborg complained.
"I bet you I know where they went." Robin said. "Where?" Beast Boy asked. "To the mall. Starfire said she needed a new bikini for the beach bash tomorrow. She also seemed determined to get Raven in one as well." Robin replied. "Dude! Raven in a bikini!?" Beast Boy asked, staring off in a day dream. It was quickly ruined by Cyborg's loud mouth. "Yeah! I won! Take that green bean!" Cyborg exclaimed. "What? Dude no fair! I wasn't paying attention." Beast Boy complained. "It's totally fair. Just because you were daydreaming about Raven in a bikini doesn't mean you get a free pass against me." Cyborg said.
"What? I wasn't daydreaming about Raven in a bikini! Robin tell him!" Beast Boy exclaimed looking to his leader for back up. "Denial isn't just a river in Egypt." Robin said smirking. "Aww man, not you too!" Beast Boy whined. "Chill man, we all know you have it bad for Raven." Cyborg said.
"Whatever." Beast Boy huffed. "Deny it all you want Beast Boy, But I have a feeling that tomorrow you'll be singing a different tune." Robin said. Instead of replying, Beast Boy grumbled and stomped out of the room, his friends laughter following behind.

                        The Mall

"Starfire do I really have-" Raven started to complain, but at Starfire's death glare she closed her mouth. "Was there any color you would like specifically?" Starfire asked. "As long as it's not pink I don't really care." Raven replied, ignoring Starfire's huff at the offense of her favorite color. "Perhaps this one?" Starfire asked, holding up a baby blue string bikini. "No, it's too light." Raven replied. "Maybe this one?" Starfire asked holding a green and yellow striped bikini. "No, I don't do stripes." Raven replied. After many other examples Raven agreed to try on two bikinis. The first one was navy blue with light blue swirls, and the second was a rich, rose colored red string bikini with a lace over lay and silver beads on the ties.
Looking at herself in the mirror and while wearing the blue one, Raven felt self conscious. "Raven come out now please, I wish to see you!" Starfire half asked half demanded. Sighing Raven opened the door and reluctantly came out of the dressing room. "Turn around." Starfire ordered. Raven did. "It looks very nice on you, but I do not think this is the one." Starfire concluded. "I agree." Raven said. "Now go try on the red one." Starfire ordered. Sighing Raven went and did what she was told. After putting on the bikini she looked at herself and was shocked. Taking in her appearance Raven actually felt...sexy. Sure she would never have the exotic feature like Starfire or the perfect butt like Bee, but right now she felt beautiful. "Friend are you finished?" Starfire asked, snapping Raven from her thoughts. "I'm coming out now Starfire." Raven said opening the door. "Oh! Friend Raven you look the stunning! Every boy's jaw will surely do the dropping when they see you!" Starfire gushed. "You really think so?" The question slipped out of Raven before she had time to stop it. "I know so! Come we must go pay for our bikinis." Starfire said, heading to the front counter. Raven followed close behind, a soft smile on her face.
