So I broke it off with Brendan and hardly left my house this weekend. Today was my first day at Lacey's. It went well, she's a pretty easy person to work for. She's not bossy or thinks that she's better than anyone else. She's just a genuine person. It felt good to tell Harry how I was feeling on Friday. He is so easy to talk to, and he actually listens to you. I think that I didn't feel anything with Brendan because I already felt something with Harry. I don't really want to jump right back into a relationship, but I don't even know if Harry likes me. I am currently on my couch watching tv with Jessie and Maci. I'm glad that I have them. They get me like no one else does. I am excited that I still get to work at Cecilia's on Saturdays, because that means that I get to see Gemma and most likely Harry. I have classes and work tomorrow. It is 10 and I decide to go to bed since I need to get up at 7:30.

I wake up and shower. I get dressed and do my hair and makeup. I grab what I need and leave. I stop at Starbucks on the way and get hot chocolate. I get to class and the professor walks in.

I get home from work and Maci and Jessie are just getting home too. "Hey girls how was your day?" I ask and Maci says, "Good. How was yours?" "Good. I'm happy to be home though." I answer and Jessie says, "I had a good day too. I'm also glad to be home." We change our clothes and Jessie runs into the living room, "Oh my gosh!" She yells and I ask, "What is it?" "Zayn dropped his first single." She answers and Maci says, "Oh my gosh. We have to see this." She fires up YouTube on our tv and looks it up. It's called Pillowtalk. The song starts and it has a really good beat.

"Holy shit. That is nothing like One Direction." Jessie says and I say, "Wow that was different. But I actually like it." "Me too." Maci says and Jessie nods. "Honestly I think he's better on his own." I say and they both nod. "Anyway what do you think I should sing for open-mic night next week? I would go this week but I have a dinner with Lacey."I ask and Maci says, "I don't know anything you sing sounds good." "Thanks. I think I'm ready to sing When I Look at You." I say and Jessie says, "That's perfect, you sing that song so good. I'll definitely be there." "Me too. I wouldn't miss it for the world." Maci says and I say, "Okay. Also, can I tell you guys something?" "Of course you can Mandi." Maci says and Jessie nods. "I know that you guys probably picked up on this but I really like Harry." I say and they both nod. "Well there is just something about him. He's not like other guys. He was so nice right off the bat, he actually listens to me when I talk to him. I feel like I've known him forever, he's so easy to talk to. The couple times that we've hugged or even when I'm just with him, I feel safe." I say and Maci says, "Wow, I'm glad. I'm pretty sure he likes you too." "I doubt it." I scoff and Jessie asks, "Why do you say that?" "Well, for one I'm not anything like the other girls he has been with, like Taylor or Kendall. They are both beautiful and extremely successful." I say and Maci says, "You are beautiful Mandi and you are successful, you are Lacey Shay's assistant." "I guess but I'm not near them. He could have any girl in the world. Almost every girl drools over him. There are other girls who are prettier than me. Why would he want me?"I say and Jessie says, "Because you are a beautiful, talented, kind, caring person and any guy would be lucky to have you as a girlfriend." "Thank you Jess." I say and we watch The Last Song. After that I am exhausted and ready for bed since I'm getting up early to go to the gym before classes tomorrow. I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow.
