Chapter 8 - Call from Lex

"Yep." I said with an ashamed look on my face but actually I only put that face on because under that I was hiding a smug face . That mysterious person was me. I took over the Eagles . I killed my father.

After that confession which was only actually the half truth, me and Raven header up to bed, tired from being been up since sunrise for training.

My room is pretty big it has a flat screen TV and a huge king size bed with fluffy cushions and turquoise throw pillow. Even though I never thought I would admit it I was actually enjoying infiltration and all my tactics seemed to be working.

I sat on my bed and pulled out my phone. I turned it on and double click the home button, usually like most iPhones it would show the tabes that are open but not this one. All my gang members phones had the extra piece of circuitry in them which allowed you to open the gangs apps and the WhatsApp group chat (don't judge everyone loves WhatsApp and we can't open it like normal people because we are just extra )I opened the X-ray app which sound cheep and childish but is actually so useful.

I held my phone camera up to the wall and slowly moved it around the room, I was scanning the place for bugs or cameras just in case of getting caught. I think it was kind stupid that they didn't take my phone but security here seems crap.

As I carry  on looking round the room I got a call from Alex. Oh-no he was probably monitoring my usage of my phone. And now knows I am able to talk to him.

"Hay want up bro." I said trying to come off funny even though I know he is was pissed at me for just going off with Raven the other day.

"Scarlett don't 'hay bro' me. What the fuck was you thinking?" He yelled.

"Chill your gonna burst my eardrum." I said bringing the phone from my ear.

"Stop avoiding the question."

"You really need to sort your anger issues out, man they are bad."

"I know what your doing. Answer my question now Scar! What were you thinking?"

"Well .... I kinda refrain from thinking it always seems so boring. So to answer your question in short: I wasn't thinking."

"Arrr...... why do you do this to me huh? Do you wanna die? Because I don't think you will like it in hell."

"Awww is little Lexie getting angry." Now I was just pissing him off with nicknames and a baby voice.

"Come on this is not the time for jokes. Carry on and I will come and get your ass right now."

"Ha. Funny you don't know where I am."

"Really. Well one we found out where the Vipers gang house last year and two you have a tracker in your phone and I installed one in you wrist when you were drunk one night."

"What?! When was this? I am totally gonna have to cut your allowance for that."

"Aww Cub how is that gonna work, you already stoped giving me money after I lost Betty."

"Oh I still have to kill you for losing her, she was my favourite gun." Again don't judge, I name all my guns.

"Oh pore Cub you wouldn't be able to kill me even if you tried. I know how you fight, I taught you how to fight."

"Ok I have no comeback but stop calling me Cub. I hate that name."

"Why it was what all the gang called you when you were little. You were like a wild animals yet you were so small. Actually you still are like a wild animal."

I rolled my eyes even though I knew he couldn't see me .

"Don't getting off topic. You were asking me why I was so stupid. And the answer is that we both know the gang could not over power the Vipers without someone on the inside."

"Yeah but it didn't have to be you."

"I was practically handed he opportunity on a silver plater what do you expect me to do: be sensible and not put myself in danger?Because we both no I am that stupid."

"You do realise that you just called yourself stupid."

"Oh my God Alex! Why are you always insulting me for no good reason. I need to go anyway so don't eat all the cooking and take care of the gang.Bye."

I start to put the phone down but on a last not added in "Oh and try not to die Alex. Love you."

Before he can respond I put the phone down on him.

"Oh boys theses days. So stupid sometimes" I mumble to myself.
