Chapter 12- Sister Troubles

Noah's POV:
As Scarlett stormed out of the office I felt my stomach drop. She thinks I would betray her like that, I know everything points to me being guilty and I know she only trusts a few people and all but I'm her brother. We shared everything for gods sake. She really doesn't trust me.

I was called out of my depressing thoughts by the one and only Raven.

He was eyeing me up as if I had killed someone which is kinda stupid because 1) obviously I kill people I'm a bloody assassin and 2) it's not like he's a pure being either.

Then I realised what was going on. I saw the flash of emotions in his eyes even though he covered it up in an instant. He was fucking jealous of how Scar looked at me when I came in.

We were inseparable as children and I was always her brother who she would do anything for but 'Mr Strong Viper Leader' (Note the sarcasm) must of mistakes it as lust or some lovey dovey shit like that. He better not have a crush on my sister.

I know I'm protective but who could blame me my sister was always getting her self into messed up shit and she really is beautiful, all the boys and sometimes girls are always ogling her. I had always needed to protect her from it all. Wait let me rephrase that: I still need to protect her from that sort of stuff now.

"Why are you looking at me like that?!" My words came out harsher than I intended.

I really need to calm the fuck down. This guys money pays my bills.

I took in a deep breath and sat down in the chair that was in front of the Ravens desk.

"Sorry, I didn't mean for that to come out that harsh. Just having a bad day." I covered up even though I wanted to rip Ravens head off at that moment.

"Its fine. We all have our off days." Raven seemed pretty chilled about how I had talked to him but you could still see the jealousy bubbling in him. I know if it was Scarlett in his place she would of said at least seven threats by now which would probably be very real. I know from experience that Scarlett does not make empty threats.

"So before we start on business I just wanna ask what you think of Scarlett? There's nothing going on between you two is there." Raven inquired.

"How could they be we literally just met." The lie rolled smoothly off my tongue as if it was the complete truth and nothing other that that.
"Why do you ask?"

"Well I think I'm crushing on her it is nothing big though probably just a fling." Now I was getting pissed: one he said he had a crush on my sister (who is in no fit state to have a boyfriend especially Raven) and two he then went on to say she is just a fling!!!!!
Man I really wanted to kill him slowly and painfully right then but instead went into the topic of business.

"Oh ok. Why don't you fill me in on the first step of the Eagle take down plan."

"Well we decided that we would follow some members we've found and find a place where they all meet, there base......" Raven and I went on with the meeting in a professional manner but I still couldn't help the little voice on my head repeating that line

"Well I think I'm crushing on her.."

"Well I think I'm crushing on her.." "

"Well I think I'm crushing on her.."

Oh god this is driving me crazy I need to talk to my sister.

(After the meeting with Raven.)

Aww my life is so  hard. I really need to clear up this stuff I've got myself in with my sister.

I know she wouldn't hurt me but she is probably beating herself up about how dumb a person she is right now.

I walked round the house toward the guest room that my sister is staying in. This is gonna be a long ass conversation. I stood outside the room my fists raised ready to knock.

Then I saw it, the red bleeping light on the other side of the door. You could only see it if you new to look for it and I know my sister she always puts an alarm on her bedroom door. It will set of an alert on her phone telling her someone was going into her room if the door is opened. It is pretty cool, it worked really effectively, she designedly herself and would kill me if I didn't take the one she made me wherever I go.

This new found information meant that she wasn't in her room. Now what was I going to do? I could call her but I doubt she would answer to me at the moment. I better start looking for her.

If I were Scarlett where would I be? She's probably angry so could be letting off steam but she does that in different ways: at the gym boxing, at a street fight, or she could just be killing someone.
Yep definitely the latter. She was killing someone.
