"Oh boys theses days . So stupid sometimes" I said to myself.

************

Next Day
I woke up at the crack of dawn and as usual got up ready for my morning run. But today felt different like I could sense something was going to happen.

"Yeah probably me being paranoid." I said to my self, "Again."

So I thought no more of it and pulled on my leggings and sports bra. And crept down stairs, not wanting to wake anyone up or have to talk to people. Although I had only been here for a day, I knew my way around the grounds after being here for a couple hours and from the floor plan my gang had found.

**********

I was outside stretching my hamstrings when I felt a presence behind me.
"Morning Raven." I said without even looking back.
"What!? How the hell did you know I was here?"
"Oh my  god Raven its to early to be shouting. Take a chill pill man." I said rubbing my ear.

"How am I supposed to chill? How did you know I was here? Have you got eyes in the back of your head?" He said in a scared tone.

"Not I don't have eyes in the back of my head."

"Then ...... h- how ....." Raven stuttered as I continue to stretch.

"Oh lord help me. All I want to do was go for a quiet run why do you have to punish me for my sins now." I was still turned away from him but now had my hands raised to the sky as if talking to God. I don't actually believe in God if he was really why does the world suffer so much.

(A/N readers don't judge me I am religious 😁)

"Well that just brightened up my morning." Raven said chuckling at my remark towards the heavens, "But seriously how did you know I was behind you?"

"Simple. Due to your physical state I would say you often run and 60% of runners run in the morning. You seem to be the only person that comes to this part of the garden. Oh and you are terrible at sneaking up on people." I spun round so I was facing him now "Especially for a gangster of your status."

"What I can sneak up on people just fine thank you very much."

"No you can't" I said in a plain tone, "When you are sneaking, you breath heavily, you stomp like an elephant, and you don't watch your surroundings. Like that there is a glass door there that shows your reflection."

"Oh. I never realised that." Raven said scratching his head uncomfortably.

I kinda felt guilty after saying that to him. So I held out my hand and asked "Come let's go for a run and then we can go and work on you stealth skills"

I think this cheered him up because  he then ran off shouting "RACE YOU!"

*****

We raced full out sprinting for about 10 minutes. Neither of us winning nor lousing, until we reach a old stretch of patio with a broken angel sculptures. I take a huge breath in, mesmerised by the beauty.

"Oh Raven." I said my voice hardly above a whisper. "This is ..... Its amazing."

I begin to walk around slowly as I memorise every tiny detail of the garden. Raven stood there staring at the angels face which was worn and covered in ivy.

"It is isn't it." Raven crocked his voice braking a little. I turned round, freezing when I saw him.

He had tears in his eyes. This place it meant something to him. This place was special and he showed it to me.

"Raven," I murmured, my tone coming off softer that I thought it would, "What is this place?"

That was when we heard it. A loud bang coming from the house. There was a moment of silence where not even the birds were chirping then chaos.
