I looked over my shoulder and saw the leader of the Vipers. Please don't recognise me. I begged silently to myself. Then it hits me the Vipers leader had only seen me in my cloak, he's never seen my face there's no point hiding. But he might be suspicious of the two men I brought along so I looked over to the table and signalled my men to leave me. My hands came to rest over my head on top of my cloak. I pulled it off slowly.
"Who are you?" The Viper leader asked me bluntly.
"Um .... I'm Scarlett, why are you asking?" It was really weird for something like that to happen. People don't just approach you when they feel like it. But seeing as I did just kill a guy might explain him being so forthcoming
"Scarlett. How did you do that?" He said still in a state of shock.
I shrugged my shoulders apologetically, "Instincts I suppose."
He looked at me still perplexed. His mouth opened as if to say something but closes again not making a sound. I looked into his crystal blue eyes with a small innocent smirk on my face. Now I knew how I was going to take down the Vipers.
The Vipers leader hesitated briefly but soon recovered as he approached me. "Scar?" He said still looking at me as if I was a flying pig. "I am the leader of the Vipers," I held back a scoff 'as if I don't know who you are' I muttered in my head. "But you can call me Raven, would you like to join my gang?"
The room that had been silent since the moment the assassin had fell to the ground suddenly gasped at what Raven had asked.
"W-well ........ I am not..." I was trying my best to act like a weak woman which I found very difficult.
"Please, you just saved my life." Protested Raven.
I then really acknowledge what had actually happened. The assassin had not come for me but had intended to kill The Vipers leader.
"Oh, ok I am in." I reply blocking out the sound triumph in my voice.
