Near Death Experience

Ellie's POV

I woke up, I looked up and saw Colby's face, his hair was messy, he was snoring pretty loud. He was still hugging me, I had to pee really bad so I tried to slither away from his grip, I felt like a snake. A couple of seconds passed, I finally got out of the death hug. I got up and out of the bed, I went to the door, the floor had creaked, I stopped, I slowly turned to Colby, he had shifted in his sleep, I let out a sigh of relief, thank god I didn't wake him up. I opened the door slowly, the door made an even louder creak, Colby didn't move this time, he had to be a heavy sleeper. I stepped out of the room, Sam was standing in front of his door, just looking at me, I'm guessing he saw my struggle with the door.

"You okay there Ellie," He said as he laughed softly, I just laughed along.

"What time is it?" I asked Sam.

"It's 9:37 am. What are you doing up so early?" Sam asked I was surprised that I woke up this early, usually I wake up at 12 pm.

"It's that early? Well, I just woke up because I had to use the bathroom, after that I might just head back into the room" I told Sam.

"Oh, okay. Don't go back to sleep because Corey wants to take you somewhere" Sam said.

"Oh yeah, right, Colby told me last night. Thanks for reminding me" I told Sam.

"No problem. Just get something to eat before you go" Sam told me.

"Thank you so much, Sam!" I said, he was confused "Thank you for being so nice to me," I told him, I hugged him real tight.

"Aww, El!" He said he hugged me back "Why wouldn't I be nice to you?" I asked.

"Well, I've always been miss treated by everyone so, I'm not used to people being so nice to me," I told Sam. I averted my eyes to the ground.

"Don't be sad Ellie, that's all in the past now. Focus on what's happening now rather than what happened a long time ago" Sam said, I looked up at him and gave him another big hug before going into the bathroom. A couple of seconds later I heard Corey talking to Sam.

"Yo Sam, do you know if Ellie is awake?" Corey asked.

"Yeah, she's in the bathroom" Sam responded.

"Oh, well, can you tell her to eat something real quick and go to my room, Devyn wants to do something with her real quick" Corey said.

"Su-" I cut Sam off by opening the bathroom door.

"What does Devyn want?" I asked.

"That's a surprise," Corey said with a small smile.

"Two surprises in one day, holy Jesus. My day just keeps getting better and better" I said, I laughed quietly.

"Holy Jesus" Corey repeated while laughing.

"What," I said while laughing "Are you making fun of my vocabulary?" I asked, still laughing.

"Your vocabulary is strange," Corey said while laughing.

"My vocabulary is one of a kind, believe it!!!" I said.

"Did you just Naruto me?" Corey said, he pointed to his chest and smiled.

"Yeah, I did. What are you gonna do about it?" I said, putting one hand on my hip, and raising an eyebrow.

"What am I gonna do about it!?!" Corey said. He started running towards me. I started running like Naruto, through the hall, and down the stairs. When I reached the bottom of the stairs I stopped in my tracks. I saw Aaron in the kitchen making pancakes. I walked in and sat on the counter.
