Inviting Erin To School

Ellie's POV

"ERIN???" I whisper/yelled in her face, sitting up, still looking at her in shock.

"Holy shit!!!" I said. I hugged her and she hugged me back, tightly.

"Surprised?" Erin asked, pulling away from the hug.

"Yes. Hell yes" I said, getting out of my blanket and out of bed, Erin doing the same.

"How did you-" I was cut off by the door opening, revealing Jackson.

"Erin?" Jackson asked, also shocked that she was here.

"Jackson? What're you doing here?" Erin asked. Jackson came closer and closer to me.

"I could ask you the same thing" Jackson said, causing all of us to chuckle.

"Ellie, remember when I asked you for Colby's number?" Erin asked. I nodded my head "We talked for a while and now I'm here" Erin said. Jackson and I looked at each other before turning back to Erin.

"It was Colby's idea to fly me over here" Erin said.

So it was Colby's idea, huh?

"I'll be right back. Okay?" I said. They both nodded their heads. Then I walked down stairs in search of Colby. I spotted him in the kitchen. He looked at me with a smile on his face. I ran towards him with a big smile on my face as well. He picked me up and I hugged him, Colby doing the same.

"Thank you" I whispered, hugging him tighter. He chuckled before putting me down.

"You don't need to thank me" Colby said, getting a bottle of water.

"No need to thank you? My best friend in the entire universe is here because of you, and you don't want me to thank you?" I said, making Colby laugh.

"I mean, when you put it like that" Colby said, making me laugh "But seriously, you're my daughter, and I want you to be happy. I only wish the best for you" Colby said. I felt my eyes watering. A tear then slipped down my cheek. I looked down and wiped it away. Colby gently pulled my head up by my chin and made me look at him.

"I love you so much, Colby" I said hugging him tightly again.

"I love you, too" Colby said hugging me back. After a couple of seconds we both pulled away from the hug.

"Thank you again!" I yelled as I started walking to the stairs. Colby smiled and waved. Then I went up to my room. I opened the door and saw Erin and Jackson talking on the couch. I walked over to them and sat beside Erin.

"Whatcha guys talking about?" I asked.

"The plane ride. It was THE SHITTIEST thing I've ever experienced" Erin said angrily. I laughed a bit.

"Tell me what happened" I said getting more comfy on the couch.

"Well, when I gave my ticket to the woman who collects everyone's tickets she looked me up and down and rolled her eyes. And then when I got on the flight this guy behind me had a kid and his kid was just so fucking annoying. He would not shut up" Erin explained also using her hands to gesture a couple of things while she was talking.

"Damn. That does sound really shitty. But it's gonna get better because you're coming with Jackson and I to school tomorrow" I said smiling. Erin's eyes widened and her jaw dropped.

"Really?!?!" She asked excitedly. I nodded my head and smiled even wider.

"You're gonna have to ask Colby" Jackson said.
