Ellie's POV

I was standing in the bathroom, just looking at the blade. I grabbed it, I was about to cut when...

"ELLIE OPEN THE DOOR PLEASE!!!" I heard a familiar deep voice.

"Leave me alone" I said, I started crying more and more every second.

"Please El!!! Open the door!!!" Colby pleaded. He was pounding on the door. A couple seconds passed and Colby BUSTED the door open. He looked at me, he looked at my tears, he looked at my sadness. I dropped the blade and ran towards Colby's open arms. Colby and I sat on the bathroom floor for a couple of seconds, Colby's arms wrapped around me, my head buried in his chest, his head resting on mine.

"What happened!?!?! Is everyone okay!!!?!?" Sam said, he saw Colby and I on the floor, huddled up together.

"Ellie found a razor blade" Colby said.

"I'm sorry Colby" I said. I looked up at him, still crying.

"I'm so sorry" I said "It's all my fault" I wiped away my tears.

"It's not your fault El. Why would you say that?" Colby said.

"I shouldn't be here, I'm just gonna mess up your entire life" I said.

"Ellie I-" Colby got cut off by Shea.

"The little twerp is right Colby, she shouldn't be here at all. You should have never adopted her in the first place" Shea said.

"Shea!!" Sam said.

"Shea, leave!" Colby said.

"What?" Shea said.

"I said LEAVE! NOW!!!" Colby said.

"But Colby-" Shea got cut off by Colby.

"Leave, and never come back. Do you understand me!?!?!" Colby said.

"No Colby I-" Shea got cut off.

"C'mon, you're leaving, NOW!!!" Devyn said, she grabbed Shea's wrist and dragged her, Shea pulled her wrist away but then Kat came and grabbed her other wrist and they took her down stairs, I saw Corey running down stairs, probably to make sure nothing happens to Devyn and Kat.

"Hey Ellie It's okay" Colby said, he started to rub my back softly.

"Yeah, It's all gonna be okay. We are all here for you" Sam said.

"How did I get so lucky" I mumbled under my breath.

"What?" Colby said.

"How did I get so lucky?" I said, Colby got up from the floor and helped me up "I know It's only been a little over 24 hours but, you guys changed my life for the better" I said.

"We are all lucky" Sam said.

"We all got lucky when you came into our lives El" Colby said.

"Um, Colby? Are you gonna be okay? You know, now that Shea is gone?" I said.

"I'll be fine, I don't know why I even liked her. She has always been mean but I was fooled by her beauty, I never did anything but now she has crossed the line, no one messes with my daughter" Colby said.

"Y-you called me your daughter" I said, I can't believe he said that.

"Yeah, you're my daughter" Colby said, a smile grew on my face.
