It's basically in the title. This girl, Ellie, gets adopted by Colby and stuff happens.
If you want my honest opinion, I think it's a good story. You should click on that "Read" button, and find out for yourself if this is a good story or not.

"Well, you said you wanted an answer and you got one" I said. Colby looked down at his feet and stayed silent.
"Did I...... do something wrong? Was it a trick question or something?"
"No, no. It's not that" Colby said.
"W-well, then, what is it?" I asked.
"I just- I wasn't expecting that" He said as he laughed nervously.
"Oh........ sorry...." I said feeling awkward.
"This is.......awkward"
"Yeah" I said.
"What's awkward?" I heard Jackson say from the stairs. My head snapped over at him and I stuttered. Colby looked at me and then at Jackson. Jackson raised his eyebrows and walked closer to me.
"Uhh..... did I do something?" He asked. I gulped and looked at Colby. He looked back between Jackson and I. I didn't know what to do.....
