kenzie walked down the stairs as johnny follows behind as he still holds onto her hand. he hadn't spoke about maisie's post, and she still hadn't figured it out. johnny was coming over for dinner, but he was frightened because he saw maddie's comment on maisie's post.

johnny was scared he was going to lose kenzie.

they took a seat next to eachother as melissa put out her famous home-made lasagne. maddie was coming home a bit late, but in time for dinner. a little more time to spare for johnny.

"i made lasagne! i know you love this, johnny." melissa grins.

"remember the first time john came for dinner? he ate all the lasagne before you could even give me some," kenzie giggles. johnny smiled, getting even more scared. this might be the last moments he'll get to be with her if maddie says maisie's lie.

"haha! i remember," melissa says, eating more of the lasagne.

there was a comfortable silence, well, not for johnny, but, then melissa started up the conversation again.

"so johnny, where's lauren? it's been so long since i've seen her. gosh, i miss that kiddo." melissa pondered.

"she's still at camp. but, she'll be back by tomorrow." johnny answered as rain was pouring outside.

"well, mom, everyone has been really nice about johnny and i! it's going out so well," kenzie exclaimed as johnny took a nervous gulp.

"aw, that's great, honey!" melissa smiled.

suddenly, someone twisted the doorknob.

it was maddie.

johnny started to feel even more anxious. maddie hung her soaked raincoat, then taking a look at them. she took a look at johnny, then made a confused expression.

"wh- what's he doing here?" maddie said loudly.

"um, maddie i'm dating him if you haven't heard? he's probably gonna be over as much as jack," kenzie said, confused.

"well, he's not gonna be over here no more! he started dating you while dating maisie!" maddie yelled, melissa and kenzie looked at johnny bewildered.

"i broke up with maisie months ago!" johnny yelled back.

"don't yell at her!" melissa fought.

"i swear, i broke up with maisie months ago! she's my ex, her post was a lie!" johnny said as maddie was trying to find the post.

"see? looks real to me! if anything is a lie, it's you!" maddie said as kenzie gasped in surprise.

"kenzie, i broke up with her months ago! you know that!" johnny said, worried.

"i-i actually didn't. we hated eachother before," kenzie stuttered as her voice began to crack.

"kenzie, maisie is a liar. i d-dated her months ago," johnny pointed out again nervously.

"p-please don't talk to me. or call me. please." kenzie said as she and johnny went out in the pouring rain.

"i can explain." he said.

"n-no." she said, kissing him quickly one last time.

just when they started dating there had to be drama.
