Angels, Devils, and Fallen Angels, three different Factions which form the same religion. Nobody can remember why the war started but it is said that the four original Satans, led the Devils against God and the Angels in Heaven as well as Azazel and the Fallen Angels, the latter of whom had retreated. The Four Great Satans eventually died in the Great War after more than half of the 72 Pillars as well as most of the armies of Devils that serve the High-Class Devil Clans of the 72 Pillars, were wiped out.
After their deaths, a group of the descendants intended to carry on their legacy by means of gathering supporters of the original Four Great Satans and finish what they started, world domination. Their intention however, were opposed by the 'Anti-Satan Faction', Devils who wanted to ensure the survival of the Devils as a species, thus disapproving of the continuation of the Great War and causing it to abruptly end.
Because of how the war ended, many felt that their had been no conclusion so for countless millennia there were conflicts between members of each Faction but there was no allowance of outright battles.
At least that's how the history is written.... history is wrong!
It starts off the same, "The four original Satans, led the Devils against God and the Angels in Heaven as well as Azazel and the Fallen Angels" BUT what isn't taught about the history is how there was in fact FOUR Factions, not three. Allow me to explain, it is a known fact that hundreds upon thousands of humans were killed in the crossfire during the war, arguably the fault does not land on a single side but alas it happened. Now most of the population were completely oblivious to the cause of these deaths which is a miracle considering, but as I said that's only 'most' of the population. Humans took notice and wanted to stop all of the unnecessary deaths, over a few hundred years they had formed their own faction who were fighting in the war, their reason for fighting? They were protecting the people of earth not only from the fighting, but from the knowledge of what was happening. This Faction had found a way to obtain special abilities to aid them when fighting, some had gained incredible strength and agility, others could manipulate the elements, creating the first magicians. A select few however possessed something that could only be replicated within their own family bloodline, they could summon weapons which would are unique to everyone. These few families became known as 'Heroes'. For some reason it was decided that their would be no mention of them in any history book.
Thousands of years later, the only proof of these 'Heroes' ever existing is in the memories of those who fought in the great war, and families of those descended from the heroes.
That however was about to change...
Hello VCreed here, this is just an idea I came up with while watching the anime, I'll try to follow the original story line as much as I can. Let me know what you guys think. Also if you can come up with any ideas for what to call the weapons as these are different from Sacred Gears let me know
