Caroline's POV

After Klaus told me how he would wait for me and how he was still in love itch me, he left my room, leaving me alone thinking about his speech. I had to talk with someone so I decided to get out of my room and go talk with Katherine and Rebekah but before I could, I felt someone snapping my neck and everything go black.

I woke up in a cell with my hands handcuff to the ceiling and then I felt water with vervain hitting me, making me look up and see a familiar face using a water gun to splash that liquid at me.

"What are you doing?" I said angry.

"You're important to Klaus so I'm going to torture you and hurt you until I completely break you and have you asking me for the mercy of death so I will gladly give it too you, breaking Klaus. You are his weakness..."

"Stop! Please don't do this."

"I'm sorry but Klaus needs to learn that he can't have everything he wants."

"I know you don't want to do this. You are not like this. You are good. I know you..."

"This is the best for everyone. Klaus doesn't deserve all this power he has..."

Niklaus's POV

It's been a month since Caroline went missing and I'm in dispair because no witch can locate her and I am losing all hope of finding Caroline.

It was 3 am and I come back from my search to take a shower and leave again because I can't waste time. What if Caroline is dead? No! I can't think like that. It's Caroline, she's strong.

When I was off the shower I heard a noise in my room, so I quickly got into my room and noticed a note on my bed.

'I know where Caroline is and who has her. Meet me at 1pm in the Church."

What the bloody hell?!

***

It was now 1pm and I have been on the church with Rebekah, Elijah, Stefan and Katherine.

"If this is a set up, I will kill..."

"Klaus, calm down! We got here way too early. Just now is 1pm." Katherine snapped at me and I was about to break her neck but Elijah stop me.

"Brother, Katerina is right. Calm down." Elijah said and when I was about to say something, I heard a few steps, making me, my siblings, Stefan and Rebekah look at the person.

"Hi! I'm Tess. I do know where is Caroline. I was the one who made the spell so no witch could track her."

"What?!" I growled and grabbed her by the throat. "Tell me where she is. Now!"

Then I felt her magic making me get pushed across the room.

"I came here to tell you. I don't need you to threat me."

"Where is She?" I asked, getting up.

"Wait. Why should we believe you if you just said that you were in on this?" Katerina asked and for how much I hated to admit it, she had a point.

"Because I don't agree what he is doing. At first I thought it was just to hurt you, Klaus, but now I found out he is doing this because he wants to kill you and get your throne."

"Please tell me it's not..." Rebekah said afraid that the witch would say the name I didn't want to hear at this moment.

"It's Marcel." She said. "He is now torturing her in the basement."

I speed to the basement and saw him torturing her by getting in her head and I saw how she was completely soap in water with vervain and how she had bleed. She looked so fragile, so weak... My beautiful angel was hurt and it was all because of the man I raise like my own son.

I took advantage of Marcel being so focus on Caroline's mind to push him away from Caroline, then I pushed him against the wall and I bite him. When I let him go, he speed away but I didn't care, now with the werewolf venom in his system he wouldn't be able to make much trouble.

"Nik..." I heard Caroline whisper, making me run to her and take her from the basement.

I knew I could vamp speed but right now she seemed so fragile and weak that I was afraid of breaking her, so I took her to my arms, in bride style, and walked over to where was everyone.

"Care!" They all yelled, running towards us.

"Hey guys!" She said with a weak smile.

"We missed you so much!" Rebekah said.

"You'll have all the time in the world to talk, now let Caroline rest." I said and then I felt Caroline giving me a peck on the cheek and then resting her head on the crook of my neck.

Once we got home, I took her to my bedroom, so she could sleep and I lay next to her, making sure no one would try to come and hurt her.
