Okay, so here's the next one. I think it's pretty boring compared to what I left off with in the next chapter. I clear up the story of the family in the next chapter, don't worry. I'll see about posting it up tonight but if not, by the end of this week I'll have it up. Please go over and check out ''Pick A Story'' and tell me which story you like by commenting or voting. Thanks.
Chapter 13
I had a dream.
They knocked me out and I was in a heavy sleep. I had dreamt about Damian unfortunately, although I didn't think that in the dream. I dreamt that Damian and I were near The River, the calm part, and were under a tree. Everything was calm and beautiful and I really liked there.
And then I woke up.
My head hurt a lot and I couldn't bring myself to open my eyes. I was still a bit groggy and I felt horrible. I remembered what I just dreamt about and started feeling stupid and screaming at myself mentally. Then I remembered what actually happened before I went to sleep and my eyes shot open.
I was lying on a bed in a small dark room. The lights were on but they were burning out. There was a dresser there and a door that led off to a very small bathroom. There was a small desk in the corner near the bed and it was filled with books in the bottom and papers on top.
The walls were a dark blue and the floor was marble. I got up and saw that I was barefoot because as soon as my feet touched the floor it was very cold.
I noticed I had different clothes on. It was shorts and a white button up shirt, which weren't mine because the shirt was a little tight in the chest. I really hope those guys were not the ones who changed me.
I looked around and looked for my sword and bag. I saw them in a corner and I wondered why they hadn't taken it. Why would they leave it for me? They wanted to . . .well I wasn't entirely sure what they wanted with me because I have never met them so I never did anything wrong. They were Demark and it was in their nature, they didn't need me to do anything to them for them to hurt me.
I grabbed my sword and where I carried them and put it on. I slowly walked towards the door and I peaked out into the other room. It was a small halfway and I was at the end of it.
There was another bathroom right across the hall and a door that led to another bedroom. It was half opened and you could see only halfway in but couldn't see anything because the lights were off. There were two more doors on my side of the hall but both doors were completely closed.
There was a room at the end of the hall that seemed to be the kitchen from what little I could see. There were people there because I heard laughing and talking. The lights suddenly went on in the bedroom across from mine and before I could do anything the door opened and out came a girl.
She was about 7 years old and was a pretty little thing. She was very small and thin. She had a blonde hair that went to her waist. She had bright blue eyes and pale skin. She looked at me with knowing eyes.
''Hello,'' the little girl spoke to me.
I was worried that someone heard her but they were too loud to hear. I glanced back at her and gave her a small, nervous smile. ''Hi.''
''I need to go check on Haley, she should be waking up around now from her nap.'' A woman's voice said from the kitchen. I looked terrified and took one big step back inside the room I woke up in.
The little girl looked at me and when her mother came to her she looked at her instead. ''You already awake, Sofia?'' the mother asked.
''She's awake too,'' the little girl replied as her mom picked her up and she pointed towards me. Great, thanks kid.
