I followed Leo as we snuck down to the lab. The elevator was terrifying. I hate small spaces. When it finally stopped, I stepped out and took a look around the large room.

This was pretty cool.

This place was huge, there were monitors and computer desks. I even saw the capsules across the room, behind Adam, Bree, and Chase.

"Leo, what are you doing? You're not allowed to be down here!" Chase reprimanded him. What am I? Invisible?

"I know. You know that party everyone in schools been talking about?" He asked. He had that grin on his face again.

"Leo....." I said, cautious of what he had planned.

He told them all to get changed and follow him upstairs. So we did. When we reached the living room, there was music and lots of people from school.

"IT'S IN YOUR LIVING ROOM!" He shouted with excitement as he stood upon the table. Everybody was dancing and having a good time, but I felt so out of place.

I could also tell this was a really bad idea. This was just going to make things far worse for them all.

I walked over to the door, taking a look at Leo and his new siblings. He was so happy. I guess he didn't need me anymore. So I slipped out of the door and made my way home.

When I finally got there the lights were on downstairs. I looked at my watch for the time. Damn, it was pretty late. I turned the handle and walked through the front door.

"Mom? Mom, I'm home!" I shout through the house.

"Oh honey, there you are." She said as she came from the kitchen. "I was beginning to worry. You're never this late. Where were you?"

"I was at Leo's new place. You know him and Tasha moved in to with his new stepdad. Turns out it's right across town." I told her, making sure to leave out the part about his new siblings and their abilities. I wasn't ready to try and lie about that yet, I still needed to process it.

"Oh well, that's nice dear. I've left you some food in the oven. Just warm it up and your good to go." She said as she came over to me.

I smiled at my mom. She wasn't much different from me. She had long, reddish-brown hair, that reach the middle of her back. Her eyes were actually a light hazel. She was a beautiful woman with a wonderful figure that I envied. I can't even fathom why Dad would leave her.

"Thanks, Mom," I smiled at her. Engulfing her in a huge hug, I really need her comfort after today.

After having my dinner, I washed the dishes, and left them to dry on the drainer, made my way upstairs, changing into some comfortable pajamas before crashing into bed.

Today had been a long day. I thought about everything that had happened. Everything I had learned today. Part of me was scared at first, but having spent time with them, I knew they were good people. They just wanted to have some normality in their lives and what was so wrong about that.

Putting my mind at ease, I finally fell into a comfortable sleep.

I walk into school the next day, searching for Leo and the others. I spot Leo over by his locker, but he's alone today.

"Leo!" I jog to catch him, as he turns to the sound of my voice smiling.

"Hey Serena, you left the party. You'll never guess what's happened." He said excitedly. He then started explaining to me what happened. How the others were home pretending to be these robots so that they didn't have to leave.
