Birthday Mission, calling Leo!

I woke up to the Alarm on my phone, telling me it was time to get up and get dressed. I had been planning Leo's birthday gifts for months and I was so excited.

I quickly got dressed into a satin red t-shirt, with a scooped neck, and a lace panel over where there would be cleavage and some black high waisted skinny jeans. I also paired it with some red, doc martin like heeled boots.

I quickly made my way downstairs un-noticed by the family who was all having breakfast and opened the front door to let the dancers in. That's right. I had a physical present for Leo but I had also written him a song and choreographed dance with some of the girls from my dance class. I snook them into the closet under the stair and grabbed the bag with Leo's new game console inside.

"Honey, I know your birthday was a bit of a bust. But, I think I know what will make it better!" Tasha said trying to cheer him up. "Donald! Give him your gift!"

Davenport did a spit take of what he had been drinking, looking over at Tasha and Leo in panic. Oh, this can't be good. Leo started to look a little hopeful, "Yeah big D, maybe your awesome-tastical gift can cheer me up after being TOTALLY FORGOTTEN!"

"What? That gift, yeah, you don't want that gift. You know what, just gimme the number that'll keep the tears back. What do you say?" Donald said as he pulled out a rack of money from his back pocket.

"Money doesn't buy happiness, Mr. Davenport," I stated, placing the gift bag on the floor next to the counter. I thought I'd give my gifts to Leo after Donalds' disaster.

"What are you? A fortune cookie?" He retorted back. I just smiled at him.

"Mr. Davenport, just give him your gift," Chase added. When I turned my head to look at him, I smiled brightly. When we made eye contact, he smiled back but I could also see the blush forming on his cheeks. His eyes glazed a bit as memories of last night returned to us both, I whipped my head back around with a blush of my own forming. Biting my lip at the memory, thankful that nobody noticed the exchange.

"You know I would, buuttt I've forgotten where it was," He claimed.

"Oh no, it's right. It's in the closet behind a bunch of stuff," Adam said as he went to retrieve the gift. I could see the defeat on Davenports face as he said, "Thanks, Adam. Good eye."

Adam returned holding a box, which I had a picture of what looked like a drone called a HEXACOPTER. Placing it on the table, Leo pranced over, a glitter of childish giddiness in his eyes. I smiled as I knew it was about to be crushed in a second from how Donald was behaving.

Leo flipped open the box, giggling, but his expression soon turned sour again as he saw the ruined gadget in the box. It was in pieces, with bits of wire barely holding some parts together. "Well great, Leo. You broke it," Donald accused in his attempt to turn it around on Leo.

"How's about my presents Leo, I think these will actually cheer you up," I smiled. I grabbed the bag from next to the counter as Leo dumped the broken Hexacopter back in the box and took the bag from me. As he was pulling out the tissue paper I quickly grabbed the mic I had hidden under a throw pillow and stood on the second step waiting.

"The new X-Box! How did you afford this?" He asked turning to me confused.

"I saved up for it silly. And nows for present number 2, I've written a little song for you" I announced.

Leo's smile grew even wider as he came closer and stopped by the couch, with the others gathered behind him.

"Ladies!"

The three girls came out of the closet and gathered around the stairs with me, as Eddie started the music and hook my mic up to their built in house speakers.
