Chapter 8

~Ein's POV~

There she was, Lucinda, the girl that I had hoped to never see ever again. I keep staring outside of the door, my mind going completely blank. I must've been zoned out for a while because the next thing I knew, my arm was hurting from repetitively getting punched in the arm. I ignore the throbbing pain in my arm and focus back onto their conversation.

"Lucinda, what're you doing here?" The doctor spoke first, catching Lucinda off guard.

"Oh hey Laurence, I didn't see you there. How's Garroth?" Lucinda winks at him, leaving Laurence unfazed by her charming looks.

"Can you really help my husband??" Lucinda turns her head to look at my mom who had a runny nose and dried tear marks on her face from crying.

"Yeah, I can. I think I know a spell or two." You could see the sudden change of emotions on my mom's face. It made me happy knowing my mom was happy and that this would all be over soon.

"But what if it doesn't work, Lucinda?" Laurence comments, butting back into the conversation.

"Why? Don't you trust my magic at all?"

"No." Lucinda pouts and crosses her arms in a playful manner, while Laurence rolled his eyes, doubting her completely.

"Ouch. Way to kill the mood. Anyways, let's get this over with now shall we? I promised to do something for my sister." Both Laurence and my mom shake their head in unison. I watch them move closer back to the room so I rush back to where I previously was as if I had never moved. They quickly make their way to my dad, wasting no time at all.

"Wow, this is worse than I had thought. This might take some time so I'll need peace and quiet while I'm working."

Everybody nods their head in agreement, not daring to make a sound. Lucinda closes the curtain that was around my dad, vanishing behind it.

~The next day~

It has been almost a whole day now since I had seen my dad at the hospital. Lucinda had told everyone that it would take her longer than she had expected and of course, she was right. Everybody else went home due to the long wait, except for my mom. Kai had followed me back home with my sister and I, which of course, I couldn't say no.

After playing video games to pass the time, I had snuggled up with Kai on my bed, instantly falling asleep. I woke up to find Kai still cuddling up next to me, looking like an innocent little kitten. My little kitten.

A small smile plays on my face, as I playfully pet his hair. Kai then looks up at me with his mesmerizing orange eyes, which were sparkling from the sun.

"Good morning," I say, still playing with his hair.

"Good morning." I hear a small yawn come from Kai, making me smile even more.

Tell me this isn't a dream. Please let him really be mine.

I stop playing with Kai's hair and brush my own hair out of my eyes. Kai does the same with his while being cute. I lean in for a kiss, catching Kai off guard. I instantly lock lips with Kai, passionately moving my lips with his. Kai lustfully lets me in, allowing me to explore the inside of his mouth.

I close my eyes and move my hands all around his body. I gently bite Kai's bottom lip, making him softly moan out in pleasure.

"Aahn, Ein." As I hear his soft moan, I feel my member growing tighter inside my pants.

I feel Kai rub the outside of my pants where my member was, sending shivers down my spine. Without realizing it, I moan out in pleasure, forgetting my sister being home. I stop and look at Kai who had a lustful look on his face.
