The Unending Mystery

Chapter 7: The Chase (Connor's POV 6:47 PM)

As soon as we saw him, some of us screamed, which made him run. Robby and I both yelled “Get him!” Robby, Dom, and I chased after him while everyone else stayed behind. I felt like I was running a marathon, honestly. Robby was the fastest, then Dom, then me. We would of caught up to the guy if Robby didn’t trip up, which led to him tripping up Dom and me. Then the three of us headed back to the camp. We told everyone how we lost him. I felt like I had failed, but then Somers cheered me up with a horrible, horrible joke. I mean even worse than Sean’s. We all became bored. After a while, everyone is still bored. Then we all were about to go back to our own houses when we noticed someone was missing. Soon we heard Dom yell “JOEY!”. Oh great I thought another mystery. Now we gotta go find Somers...
