Chapter 13: The More or Less Reunion (Jack's POV 6:08)

So I things are getting creepy now. Somers is leaving at random times. So I had to investigate. I grabbed Emma and Somers and said we were going for a all day supply run. I needed Emma to have my back but not look like we were cornering him and I wanted to see what would happen with him. Now we went by the woods, but didn’t get to close because we didn’t know if they were still there. We bought the biggest backpacks and were able to store a lot. Then Somers suggested “We should go spy on them.” I immediately said “NO.” They weren’t getting in our business so we weren’t going to mess with them. Emma said he was right and gave a lot of reasons. They finally forced me to go with them.  We saw Connor and Sean telling everyone else about how they spied on us. I was so mad that we had to retaliate. I didn’t hear everything but I heard something about the blue hoodie man too. This had almost confirmed my suspicions about Somers because they did say they saw Somers. And it was the same time that he was missing in the morning. I didn’t bring that up and I didn’t want to be mean, but we had to act. I whispered “I don’t want to be mean, but this hurt me them spying on us. Now I know why you wanted to spy on them, Somers.” This means war. I went into the small hut and found food galore. There was a few 20 dollar bills and two duffel bags full of food. I took the money and one duffel bag and Emma got the other duffel bag. She also found some money just laying on the ground. There was a box on the far left side that held supplies. Connor and Max made it when they were still friends. Anyway Somers took a look in there and found some more money. He also found the last duffel bag. As we started running away Sean spotted us and started running at us. We were a safe margin away, but he was fast. Than Robby trailed behind him and Mackenzie behind him. Connor looked exasperated from running earlier but held himself together. We got to the house, locked the door, and turned on an alarm system that would alert us if anyone came in or out. It was like a lockdown. I just hope they didn’t follow us back. I showed them what we got and why we did it. They were mad at first, but they understood in the end. I feel like their gonna retaliate…
