Hey guys!! 

So, I know that I said I was going to upload on Monday but I got ten votes on the last chapter & I said if you guys gave me ten then I'll upload so here's chapter three!!  

One thing first though, I know that a lot of you might be confused & have questions from the last two chapters but this story is meant to be confusing!! haha No kidding! I'm serious, like it really is meant to be confusing since there's a mystery we're trying to solve here!! Anyways, I hope you enjoy this chapter & please leave your comments below!! They help me write more!! 

Also, I've mentioned that this story won't really be like the others since Shyanne haven't shifted yet & the reason of why will be explained later on in the story!!

Chapter Three: 

"Who the hell are you?!" Mikaelah asked, clutching her chest, "For the life of god!! Dude, you almost gave me a heart attack!!!" 

"Well," The guy chuckled, "You've just crossed the Moonshadow Land so I could've done worse but I didn't so consider yourselves lucky." 

He was tall, cute with his brown hair and black eyes, and very well-built. Not in the steroids type of guy but the your-average-everyday-guy type. 

"We're in the what now?" I asked. 

"You just crossed the Moonshadow Land," He repeated, looking at me now, "Where are you from?" 

"Uh..." He raised an eyebrow at me, "Uh...you know, from...out there." 

"Out there?" He asked, clearly amused. 

I rolled my eyes, "Yeah, out there. Got a problem with it?" 

"That's not what I heard," He smirked, leaning against a tree ten feet away from us. 

I narrowed my eyes at him, "What exactly did you hear?" 

He smiled and scratched the back of his head, "Well..." 

"Well?" I looked him straight in the eyes, "What. Did. You. Hear?" 

His eyes widened and he stuttered, "Uh, something about covering her... scent?" 

I blinked and smiled, "Oh, okay. Well," I turned Mikaelah, shrugging, "He didn't hear anything, come on." 

She nodded numbly and we turned to keep walking but, suddenly, a big black wolf appeared out of nowhere and went for our face. 

Mikaelah screamed and I pushed her aside then raised my hand and snapped my fingers. 

It was as if they were working on their own, I didn't notice how the wolf flew to a tree and fell, turning into human again until I sucked in my breath and breathed out. 

My nails were a little longer than usual but that quickly disappeared as I stared at it and then I felt myself falling on the ground, unconscious.
