Chapter 14

Yoongi's POV

So, the time has finally come. The time where Y/N and that guy will get to know each other. I knew I should have come but I don't want him to see me yet. It's still too early; I'll let her get to know him first. But seriously speaking here, now that she's mine, I can't last a day without talking to her. I can still bear without seeing her for now. I wonder when she'll call me back. Bet she's already talking to that jerk.

I just paid attention to my current work so I won't have to think about him too much. I'm sure he doesn't even remember me anyway. It's better that way.

After a few moments, I heard some knock on my door. Now who'll come visit me at this time of hour? I'm not in any mood to see someone but, "Hey, you busy?" it was Hoseok standing on the other side of my door. "What are you doing here?" Hoseok told me he came to ask me for a favor.

Is this about the dance competition? How many years has it been? "If you're not too tight on schedule, maybe you could arrange some music for us?" if I remember it right, their competition will be happening next month. Should I let her join in this world? I don't wanna see her sad again but then, she'll remorse over it. What should I do? Hm... I can't give them the same exact music over and over again. "Sure, no problem." He thanked me and told me he couldn't wait to hear it so he could come up some additional choreography.

What was his role again this time? Right. Best friend. I doubt he and Y/N were only best friends; their closeness is out of this world. I need to know what happened to their past.

"Hoseok..." he hummed while he was eyeing around my studio. He always acts like it's his first time coming here. I don't blame him though. He told me he also wanted to have a music studio so he could provide his own music for his team. "What is it, Yoongi?" he walked close to me and sat comfortably on my extra chair. I mentally slap myself for doing this but I badly want to know. "Tell me, what was your relationship with Y/N...?" I noticed him clear his throat. He chuckled awkwardly like he was hesitating telling me about them. "We're best friends, 'til now. I already told you about that," I ran my tongue on my bottom lip, it felt too dry.

Why do you keep lying to me, Hoseok? "I meant, your real relationship with her. I feel there must be something." His expression suddenly became serious. "Yoongi, it's already in the past. She's all yours, it doesn't matter now." It does matter. So, there really was something. I want to know everything. Everything that happened to her. I still convinced him to tell me the whole story. He didn't need to hide it, I would understand since it already passed. "Just tell me everything about you and Y/N."

I took a break from my work so Hoseok and I could talk more seriously. He started out on when and where they met for the first time. Well, I'm just glad it wasn't that jerk again. I can't control who she meets every day, but at least I can make her forget about him. I can't allow them to be together again.

Hoseok went home at around 10 PM, after telling me his whole story we went to eat dinner together. I made him stay too long because of my selfishness. I'm glad he understood my situation, though I feel bad for him at the same time. I was on my way back to my apartment when I heard my phone ring. I'm a bit tipsy for drinking too much. I didn't bother bringing my car; don't wanna get involved with the police by drunk driving.

-On the phone-

Yoongi: Why do you have to keep me waiting, babe?
You: I'm sorry. I lost track of time. I went grocery shopping for my brother.
Yoongi: And? How's your brother doing?
You: He's doing just great. I wish you could meet him.
Yoongi: I will someday. Anyway, I'm walking my way home now.
You: Walking? You talk weird, Yoongi. Are you drunk?
Yoongi: I'm not, babe. Just had a little drink with Hoseok.
You: With Hoseok? Good to know you went out with him.
Yoongi: Yeah... He misses you... a lot.
