Hoseok's POV

"Hoseok... Let's break up..."

I knew it. I honestly wanted to cry but I can't show her that, it'll just make her weak. I kinda expected this would happen. We were doing fine until this day, even though she has been quiet; she still showed her love towards me. "I'm sorry... I... love you but I don't think it will work out between us." There must be a reason why... there's no way she'll break up with me without any reason. I need to know but... am I able to let her go... just like that? I don't think I can...

"You deserve someone better, Hoseok. Someone who will love you more, someone who will take care of you. I'm unable to do that because I'm---" I immediately pulled her closer to hold her tight. I get it now; she doesn't need to explain it further. I told her it's okay and it's not her fault if she thinks she's not enough for me. She's the most perfect girl in my eyes, there's nothing wrong with her at all. "I'm really sorry, Hoseok..." I separated from the hug and cupped her face; I wiped the tears off her beautiful face. She's cried enough, I think it's already time to make her stop crying... for now.

"Look, it's not your fault so don't you ever say sorry. Please... don't blame yourself for everything. If that's what you want... I'll let you go." I noticed her tears fell even more... She must be hurting too that this is happening. It's two times worst for me... I'm about to lose the person I love the most. "I'm so sor---" I didn't let her finish again and kissed her... for the last time as my girlfriend. She's about to say sorry again, I'm not letting her say it anymore. Not anymore... This must be what Jungkook meant by space. "Shh... If I hear you say sorry again I'm not gonna let you go." She looked down and wrapped her arms around me as I did the same. I spoke near her ear that everything will be alright now.

"Thank you for everything, for loving me back. You meant the world to me... I'll never forget about our times together and... thank you for being my precious sunshine." Fuck, my eyes start to water. I need to stay strong... Just hold on to it a little longer, Hoseok. You wanna make her happy, right? But this is all too soon! Can I really do this?

Y/N loosened her grip on me and stepped back a little. "Just... promise me one thing..." I saw her nod but her eyes were still glued to the ground. Nothing will change, right? I still want to be with her, I still want to protect her no matter what. "Promise me that... we'll stay best friends after this... that's all I ask for." I saw her nod again in agreement. I'm glad... this way she won't be so distant... I can still stay beside her whenever she needs a best friend to lean on. "I promise... We'll stay best friends." Good, I hugged her one last time, before she go. We broke the hug after we heard the train coming; I guess this is it...

"Remember that I'll always be here... okay? You can still tell me what's bothering you... as your best friend." Y/N promised that she'll call me whenever she needs me. As she went inside, I saw her sit by the window and waved at me through the glass. I gave her a reassuring smile waving back at her. Not long after the train's alarm went off, signaling for departure. I suddenly felt my knees weak, when the train was gone I sat on the nearby bench while my tears flowing nonstop. It's the first time I cried this hard, I'm weeping like an idiot. Pull yourself together, Hoseok! I didn't completely lose her, we're still best friends.

Just like old times...

Taehyung's POV

"You mean, 2 weeks before I auditioned was the time you two broke up?!" Hoseok hyung nodded after sipping his coffee. Waah! I didn't even notice! They were never awkward that time so I didn't even know hyung was broken hearted. "I made her promise not to get awkward towards me after the breakup so... yeah." Well, that's cool. I never knew that would be possible for a couple who just broke up. Y/N must really treasure hyung as well, as her best friend that is. Hoseok hyung drank all his coffee and then went to the bathroom to clean up.
