Your POV

The weekend came by so fast. I made sure to set my alarm this time, but I woke up too early though. It's 6:30 in the morning. I wanted to go back to sleep but I can't fall asleep anymore. 4 hours before I meet Yoongi. Am I that excited or what? Not long, my phone rang. And it was him! Why is he also up early? Should I answer or not? I thought of pretending to be asleep, he eventually stopped after the 2nd attempt. Why do I feel so nervous? It's just Yoongi, we already went out together. We were casually talking through text or through calls.

Why now? My heart started to pound so hard. I didn't feel this anxiety before. Is it maybe that I already know he likes me? I laughed awkwardly. Why would he like me anyway? I'm not something special, I do dancing for a living and he makes amazing music. He could be a producer of a famous singer, for God's sake!

Oh no... He's calling again. Calm down, self. It's just Yoongi, you two are good friends, right? Nothing to worry about, you're just gonna talk to him and... meet him later. After I had an debate with myself, I decided to finally answer the call. Here goes nothing.

-On the phone-

You: ....Hello?
Yoongi: Hi. Did I wake you up?
You: N... Not really.. What's up?
Yoongi: Well, I was too excited so I woke up early. Sorry about that...
You: No.. I mean... I'm excited too.

Really now? I do feel excited as well. Can't wait to meet him and have some fun conversation.

Yoongi: ...Really? Can't wait to see you then..
You ...Yeah, me too.
Yoongi: ......
You: ......

Now what? He's not talking... Did he fell asleep? W... What should I do? What can we talk about right of this moment? Maybe I can ask him if he had breakfast already? Maybe I'll do that so it won't be awkwardly silent.

You: Uh... Yoongi?
Yoongi: Yeah?
You: Oh, I thought you fell asleep.
Yoongi: You can keep talking. I can listen to your voice all day.
You: .......A... Anyway, have you eaten your breakfast?

Did he just make me blush? My cheeks feel so hot right now. Yoongi said he's not used to eating breakfast but he drinks coffee every morning. Lately I found myself enjoy talking to him. I got to know him a lot over the past month so... I think I'm beginning to like him too.

Yoongi: I want to tell you something.
You: What?
Yoongi: ...Hold up, someone's at the door.
You: Okay..

What will he tell me this time, I wonder? Not to mention it's making me more nervous, really nervous than earlier. While waiting for Yoongi, Hoseok knocked and opened the door. Talk about nice timing. I wonder what he wants and he's up early on a weekend too. I bet Taehyung was still sleeping. "What's up with you?'' he was still wearing his bed hair, it's so messy. I can't help but laugh. I saw him scratch his head then yawn. He walked towards me just to lie down on my bed.

"Who're you talking to?'' Hoseok asked with eyes already closed. Is he going to sleep in here? He just woke up to continue sleeping in my bed? Typical Hoseok. Yoongi hasn't come back yet, so I lied down beside Hoseok. It's still early; I can relax a bit more. I wonder who was at the door at this hour. Wait, why am I thinking about that? I shouldn't interfere, maybe its work related. Anyway, I can hear light snores. Hoseok went back to sleep. We used to sleep together when we were younger. Don't get the wrong idea. He was the first friend I've ever made. So I can't afford to lose him.

I've been waiting for like, 15 minutes now. Did he forget we were talking on the phone? But he was still on hold when I looked at the screen. I'll wait a little longer. I wonder where we'll be going this time. Last time he took me to his studio. Oh, I know. I can show him our favorite record store. That's where we buy our CD's for dance practices. I know CD's are quite, old school but hey, idols keep releasing comeback albums. We also stan some groups like BTS.
