Chapter 16

Hoseok's POV

8:30 AM

Tae and I just got back from the train station; the both of us went to see Y/N off. She'll be spending her short vacation with her brother in Busan. Now I'm left alone with Taehyung, he told me he planned to visit his parents tomorrow. It's also been a while since I saw my family but my house is just an hour drive so I don't worry about it too much.

Jimin wanted to come along but then he said he was too tired, guess he's getting busy with the agency he joined. Maybe I'll go clean our room while Taehyung is here to help me. It's been ages since we last cleaned it, I don't even remember when that last time was. After eating the leftover sandwiches that we made for Y/N, I asked Taehyung to lend me a hand. I guess vacation is cleaning time after all.

It's a messy hell, Y/N will scold us if she sees this when she gets back. We're putting away unwanted things... Ugh, this room is oozing with dust. It's flying everywhere! Great thing this apartment has an attic where we can store some boxes. Most of the things we found here was my old books and notebooks back in high school. Those were the great days...

Anyway, didn't know this was in our room till now. We also looked through every corner of the shelf and guess what, Taehyung found his important documents from the school. This boy, losing something so important like this. I told him not to lose it again and he even promised he'll keep it somewhere safe. Well, we'll see about that then. If I find it abandoned again, I swear I'm gonna hit him.

"Hyung..." I had to pause from what I was doing when he called out to me. "What?" he waved his hand in front of his face to remove some dust flying all over. Should we wear a mask? I think that'd be the best idea to avoid this dust, I went to the closet to look for a mask for the both of us.

"Was this room always this messy?" Taehyung asked scratching his head. It wasn't that messy and dusty until now. Anyway, let's just get this over with. I still have to call Yoongi this afternoon so I could ask him a favor again. The dance competition is coming near and we really want to win this year.

While I was rummaging through the things under our bed, I saw... uh... what is this even doing here? "Hey, is this yours?!" I lift the piece of clothing that I found, waving it like a flag. What the heck?! It's so dusty... but at least it was washed and hasn't been used yet. This is the white boxers that Taehyung has been searching for last year.

How long has this been neglected? These awful dusts... "Was that mine, hyung? I thought mine was the black one." What the... this idiot, we went shopping for this together and we both agreed that I'll get the black. I thought I lost it too but... don't tell me he's been using it all this time?!!

I tossed the dusty underwear towards his direction and he caught it in time. "It's yours, you dummy." We should start writing out initials from now on so things won't get mixed up. He was staring at the dirty fabric like an idiot to observe if it was really his or not. He honestly can throw them and get a new one instead; the color's looking awful as well. In the end, he decided to wash it and check if he could restore the original color again. It'll be a waste of money to throw it actually; it's an expensive underwear brand.

After clearing the unwanted things under the bunk bed, we moved on to the shelf to organize the books and figures displayed. It's mostly my stuff and collection of figures so Taehyung doesn't need to touch it. "How'd you manage to collect that? Some of them are rare and limited edition, right?" I worked hard to collect these figures, they're called KAWS and they're cute. Taehyung also wanted to collect them but we got limited space in here.

I kinda regret why I got an apartment with only two bedrooms. Well, I didn't even know and never expected that Taehyung would be moving in with us. Maybe I should look for a bigger apartment?? Hm...
