Chapter 4

Haley's P.O.V

Today is Rydel's party. I put something casual and someone knocked on my door.

I opened it and it was Rydel and Maddy.

"You look gorgeous", Maddy complimented

"I agree", Rydel nodded

"You guys look great too, shall we?", I asked. They nodded and we drove to the Lynch's house.

Once we got there, my jaw dropped. There were a lot of people.

"Let's go to our pool", Rydel suggested. Big house, big pool. They must be rich or something.

We dug our feet in the pool and talked about boys.

Rydel winked at Maddy then Maddy spoke, "Rydel has to show me something, is that okay if your here alone for a minute?".

"Sure", I smiled. They walked out of the pool and went inside. Then, someone picked me up and threw me in the pool.

"Ross!", I laughed. He jumped in and got me from the water.

He put me on the pool stairs and he sat by me.

"What was that for?", I asked. "I want to have fun with you", he replied and winked.

I saw that he was down. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that. I just really like you", he confessed.

"Why? Trust me, I'm not that great", I sighed.

"You are more than great, you're amazing"

"I don't feel that-"

He cut me off by kissing me. My heart pounded like crazy. I really like it.

He pulled back. "That's how much I like you", he confessed.

He hugged me and I hugged back. His warm chest made me sleepy.

I yawned and Ross noticed. "Do you want to stay here for the night?", he asked.

"Nah I don't want to cause trouble here", I smiled weakly.

"No you won't, you're too tired to go home", he kissed my forehead.

"Alright, I'll tell my mom about", I got my phone from the chair.

I texted her

Me: Can I stay at the Lynch's for the night?

A minute later, I got a text from her.

Mom: Okay, don't cause any trouble.

Me: Okay, love you mom

Mom: Love you more.

"She said yes", I smiled. He picked me up and swung me around.

After the party, I ran upstairs to Rydel's room.

"Rydel? Can I borrow some pj's from you?", I asked. "Of course", she smiled.

"So, how's Ross?", she asked. "He so kind and sweet", I giggled.

"He likes you very much, you are his first love".
