Chapter 29

Ross' P.O.V

Today, Laura came out if the hospital and I'm here to pick her up.

I brought her to my car and drove to her home.

"Thank you so much, Ross" she thanked and hugged me.

"Anytime" I smiled and she walked inside her house.

I went inside my house and Haley was talking to someone so I just sat next to her.

I put my arm around her and she nuzzled up while talking.

"Okay, let me know if she's there. Okay, bye" she hung up and smiled at me.

"Who were you talking too?" I asked.

"Brittany" she answered.

"Why were you talking to her?" I asked with a confused look.

"We became friends after what Annie did to her"

"So what did you talk about?"

"Warning her about Lucy"

"Oh okay" I smiled.

She pecked my lips and hugged me. I touched her stomach and felt her getting a little bigger with the baby.

"It should be a boy" I blurted. "I could teach him how to play football, how to get girls, and other stuff".

She laughed "I can imagine you teaching him how to pick up girls".

"Hey!" I nudged her. She lightly smacked me and we had a little fight.

"HALEY!!! I NEED YOUR HELP!!!" Rydel called.

"I guess she needs me" Haley walked and ran to Rydel's room.

I waited until someone knocked on the door. I opened it and there stood my co-worker, Maia Mitchell, half of her body covered with blood.

I brought her inside immediately and brought her to my couch. "What happened?" I asked worriedly.

"Someone beat me up and started asking me questions about you" she cried with her Australian accent.

"Lucy!" I clenched my fists. I walked out the door and got to my car.

"R-Ross d-don't, she's d-dangerous" she limped to the door.

"No, I know what to do" I explained and slammed on the break.

Haley's P.O.V

"Thanks for helping me find a dress for my date with Ratliff" she smiled and hugged me.

"No problem" I hugged back and ran downstairs.

I saw a bloody girl half way across the door. "OH MY GOD!" I brought her to the couch and let the girl rest.

"R-Ross l-left" she muttered. "Ross?" I repeated "Who are you?".

"I'm R-Ross' co-worker, M-Maia. He g-going after L-Lucy" she explained and whimpered in pain.

"Rydel!" I called and she came in. "What do you- Maia!" she yelled in shock.

She started comforting her. "Can you take care of her while I go after Ross?" I begged and she nodded.

I sped to Lucy's house.

I burst in and Ross and Lucy were kissing. I gasped in shock and they jumped.

Lucy smirked and grabbed my two hands. Ross looked at me and I read his mind. Lucy tied me to a chair and I start to cry.

"Now, enjoy watching your boyfriend kiss me with joy" she hissed and continued to make out with him.

I just watched, like she forced me. Just then, people came in and held guns.

"Step away from the man" a voice I recognize spoke.
