Chapter 46

*Haley's P.O.V*

I walked inside of the hotel with Annie awake as the crowd cheered for me. I smiled big as people started saying thank you to me.

Ross ran and gave me a tight hug. "You could of been killed" he stroked my hair while we were still hugging.

"Sorry to interrupt guys but here is your $5000" the policeman gave it to me.

"Why?" I asked. "Since Lucy was wanted in all of the states, except California, Hawaii, Montana, Alabama, and Kentucky, you are rewarded $5000" he said and smiled.

Ross hugged me as I hugged him back.

*After the trip*

We got to our house as Maia was sitting on the couch watching t.v.

"Maia? What are you doing here?" I asked calmly even though rage is building up.

"I live here" she said in a sass tone. "Not anymore Maia. Go find another place to live" Ross smirked.

"What?! You can't just kick me out of the house!" She yelled.

"That's what you did when Ross and I broke up. Now go pack and leave" I ordered as she stomped upstairs.

After she left, I went upstairs to go to bed. Tyler fell asleep so I just went to bed. Ross came in and hugged me.

"Goodnight princess" he smiled.

"Goodnight love" I smiled back and fell asleep.

*The next morning*

After we woke up, we went to Kate's house to pick up Zoe.

"Thank you so much Kate" I gave her $70.

"Here, take it back" she gave it to me and I looked at her confused.

"There is a possible chance Zoe is pregnant. I left her and Cooper in my backyard" she looked down "I'm sorry."

"It's okay Kate. We would like Zoe to be pregnant. We were not planning but she needs kids too" I smiled and gave her the $70. She smiled "thank you so much" she closed the door as we walk to our house.

Zoe started whining as we got into the house. "What's wrong baby?" I asked.

"She misses Cooper" Ross pouted as Zoe went to her bed and we laughed.

Ross looked at our calendar and wrote something on it. "What are you writing?" I asked.

"When we first met. August 18, 2014" he smiled and I laughed. I grabbed the marker and wrote on September 12, when we got together as a couple.

I went to the mall with Rydel and Maddy to find a job.

"This one!" Rydel pointed and it was Forever 21. We walked in as one of the workers smiled.

"Welcome to Forever 21. Need any help with anything?" She asked.

"Is there a job opening here?" I asked smiling.

"Yes there is! Follow me" she walked to the door where it said Employees Only and we walked through. There was a lady sitting at a desk who smiled at us.

"This girl want a job here" she replied and left.

"So? Will you like a job here?" She asked and I nodded.

"Here is a form that you will fill out. Bring it here tomorrow completely filled and then, we'll see if you'll get the job" she smiled and passed me papers.

I walked out and joined Rydel and Maddy as we shopped for the rest of the day.

"Guess who has a job!" I yelled into the house as Ross jumped from his seat. I laughed as he pushed me to the couch and laughed.

"You almost gave me a heart attack" he growled playfully.

"Who cares?" I said in a baby tone making him mad. He sat on the couch and we watched t.v for the rest of the day.

My eyes closed and I slept on Ross' shoulder while he rested his head on mine.

Tyler screamed so I stood up which Ross fell onto the couch and woke up.

I took care of Tyler and he went back to sleep. Ross grabbed me from behind and threw me onto the couch.

"Stop it" I pouted as he laid on me. "You're....so.....heavy!" I laughed and tried to free myself but he was too strong. My eyes fluttered closed with Ross still on me.

My eyes shot open once Tyler cried. I got up and went to feed him. I put him on the ground and played with him. I roll the ball and he crawls to give it to me.

He's smart for a 6 month old baby.

I started to think about his future. His parents are young adults who aren't married yet and not going to college. I will be a bad example to our son.

A tear fell out of my eyes as Tyler came up to my face and wiped it away with the ball. I smiled and kissed his cheek.

Zoe came downstairs looking like a complete mess. She went over to Tyler and locked his cheek. Tyler laid down and she watched him like it was her own son.

I looked at her and how Tyler smiles when he gives her the ball but didn't take it. She would be great with her pups.

I looked at Ross and he was still asleep. I grabbed a bucket of water and dumped it on him. Ross shot up as I ran down to our bathroom and locked the door.

He opened it with a key and tackled me. "Haley!" He growled and lightly bite my neck.

"Ow! Rossy" I laughed because it actually tickled.

He stopped and wrapped his arm around me and we walked downstairs while Tyler is playing with Zoe.

"Oh honey, this is going to be an easy life with Maia and Lucy out of the way" Ross finally said after our silence.

Still remembering risking my life for my survival from Lucy.

If I can kill her, I can kill anyone.
