"I love Christmas"

Me and Mike stood helping decorate the Christmas tree in glee club.

"Me too, I just love putting up decorations" a small smile came to his mouth, "though we don't put a lot up"

"Well, I love cookies. Christmas cookies are the best" I sighed.

He looked down at me from the top of the tree, "remember when we made cookies on Christmas Eve last year and your dad flipped out because we got red and green icing everywhere"

"As if I could forget" I smirked, "we burnt the cookies and almost set the house on fire"

"And that's when I learnt your favourite Christmas song" Mike sung playfully.

"You can't mock me for liking it" I shrugged, placing the last bauble onto the bottom of the tree.

"What I can mock you for is-"

"Don't even mention what I think you're about to say" I warned him, standing up to meet his height.

"When you fell over with the cookie batter and got it all over you face because you were dancing" he smirked, he knew he was gonna get chased for that.

"Come here you!"

I grabbed a long piece of silver tinsel and started to chase him round the choir room, as the others watched in joy.

Without realising, I started to sing the Christmas song.

"Jingle bell, Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell Rock" I jumped over a chair which had been placed by the Christmas tree as mike ran passed it.

"Jingle Bells swing and Jingle Bells ding" Mike stopped in the middle of the room and faced me, finishing off the line.

He lifted me up to put the star on the Christmas tree as I sung, "snowing and glowing with bushels of fun, now the Jingle hop has begun"

"Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell rock, Jingle Bells chime in jingle bell time" mike then picked me up bridal style and ran across the room to sit on the chairs again.

"Dancing and prancing in Jingle Bell square, in the frosty air" I got up and skipped across the room as the rest of the new directions harmonised with me.

"What a bright time, it's a fine time, to rock the night away" mike proceeded to run over to me and pick me up again, without my consent. I hate being picked up. He knows this.

"Jingle Bell time, it's a swell time. To go riding in a one horse slay"

"Giddy up, Jingle Horse pick up your feet, Jingle around the clock" he swung me around before placing me on a seat.

The new directions watched with laughter as we ran around after eachother, it was strange for them as mike hardly ever sang out loud.

"A mix and mingle in the jingling beat"

"That's the Jingle bell rock!" We both sung together.
