"Rachel and I might as well get used to a life of barista work and summer stock." Kurt sighed as he sat with Alexis, Ricky and Blaine in the Lima Bean, "There's no way we're getting into NYADA now. If we don't win at sectionals, I pretty much have nothing to live for."
"Yikes." Alexis shared a look with Kurt's boyfriend, "that hurt."
"You've all got another year" he groaned, "you don't understand."
"New directions is a mess and we're gonna lose. And I can't do a thing about it." Blaine muttered.
Ricky grimaced at the black haired boy, "being negative won't help, I agree though."
He shook his head, "every time we open our mouths, Finn gives me and Ricky these looks like 'what do they think they're doing?' I know what I'm doing!"
"I mean, I did show choir in elementary and we always won but he doesn't know that. So I don't see what he's got against me" Ricky scoffed.
"Jealous probably" Alexis snorted, "another male lead? God it's Jesse all over again- I wouldn't worry Blainey."
"Hey guys!" Kurt and Blaine both tensed at the familiar voice, turning their heads to see Sebastian taking a seat across from Alexis, "it's so crazy. I'm sitting over there checking out this cute girl, and cute guy, and all of a sudden I'm like, 'wait a second, I know that stripy t-shirt anywhere." He winked at Alexis, before turning to Blaine, "what's up buddy? Haven't seen you online."
When the boy cleared his throat, Sebastian moaned, "Hi Kurt."
"Be nice." Alexis slapped the dalton boy in the arm, "he's my brother."
"We've been really busy with Glee club" Blaine admitted.
"And being party poopers." Alexis grumbled into her hot chocolate.
Kurt quickly reached to grab Blaine's hands from across the table, "Practicing for sectionals, together"
Ricky and Alexis both pretended to puke, which made Sebastian snicker under her breath.
"Yeah" he recovered, "well hey, If there's one guy that can whip the new directions into shape, it's Blaine Anderson, right?" He turned to Alexis when she scoffed, "and you, of course."
Alexis couldn't understand why Sebastian's flirting with Blaine stung so much.. she definitely didn't like him. Or so she kept telling herself.
"Right" Kurt folded his arms.
Blaine cleared his throat, as if trying to clear the tension, "I need another coffee"
"Same here!" Ricky stood up, following the boy in pursuit.
The second that Blaine was away, Kurt glared at Sebastian, "I don't like you."
"Fun." Sebastian smirked sarcastically, "I don't like you either."
