"Okay, favourite Michael Jackson memory- go!"

"When I was one, my mom showed me the VHS tape of his Motown special, and when he did the moonwalk across the stage for the first time in history, I said my first words." Artie smirked over his drink, "hot damn"

"Definitely our performance of Thriller last year." Alexis grinned, "we really became a proper team. Most of my favourite memories from last year came from that week."

"I owe the king of pop a deep debt of gratitude" Kurt sighed, "He was the first one to pull off the sequinned military jacket, long before one Kurt Hummel made it iconic."

"My dad gave me his replica thriller jacket when I was 8. It was far too big at time, but I wore it everywhere until I was 14" Ricky took a sip from his coffee with amusement.

"I have to be honest— I never really got into him" Rachel admitted.

Artie gawked, "And we are no longer on speaking terms."

"You surprise me, Berry." Alexis raised her eyebrows, "I thought your music taste was better."

Rachel hit the girl lightly before laughing, "Don't get me wrong, I think he's an amazing performer. I just never got what he was about"

"Rachel, he was best friends with Liza Minnelli and Liz Taylor" Kurt frowned at Rachel.

She sighed, "No, all I'm saying is that I-I just haven't connected with him the way that I have with the likes of Barbra or either of the Stephens. Sondheim. Schwartz."

"Who?" Ricky muttered.

Santana narrowed her eyes as she wrapped her hands around a paper coffee cup, "I'd throw this mocha in your face, but it's not nearly as scorching enough"

"Okay, but I think it's a good idea since you guys are so jazzed about him."

"Well, that may not be the best idea" Everyone looked up to see a familiar Dalton uniformed boy standing before them, "Hello, Alex, Blaine. Hello Everybody else"

"Does he live here or something?" Kurt looked to his boyfriend and his sister before glaring at the Warbler, "seriously, you are always here."

"He's actually at breadstix more often" Alexis smiled cheekily, "he buys me pizza. It's great- why don't you think it's a good idea?"

"Because we're doing MJ for regionals" Sebastian did his famous Warbler smirk, "you see, Warblers drew first position, so when I heard what your plan was, I changed our set list accordingly."

"I'm sorry" Kurt coughed, glaring at his sister and his boyfriend again, "h-how did you hear?"

"Wasn't me" Alexis shrugged, "Haven't talked to the guy in a week."

"Blaine told me this morning. I just called for a tip about how to get red wine out of my blazer piping and he would not stop going on about it"

Blaine smiled guiltily when they all turned to look at him, "I may have mentioned it."
