"You're late."

Everyone looked up, midway through their stressful attempts of dancing at booty camp as Mercedes strolled in, getting the side-eye from Will, "I know. I overslept."

Quinn, who had returned to glee club, much to Alexis' delight, scoffed, "its 4:30 in the afternoon."

"My alarm went off 30 minutes late, kinda shifted my whole schedule." Mercedes shrugged, "anyway, what's Santana doing here?"

"She re-swore her allegiance to glee club" Alexis grinned, slinging her arm around the Latina mentioned.

"Without telling sue, of course." Santana smirked, returning her best friend's embrace.

Will just sighed in annoyance, "Lexis, can you catch Mercedes up please?"

The girl did so in question, "okay- just copy me, okay? five, six..five, six-" Their dancing was abruptly cut short when Mercedes suddenly dashed towards the trash and bent over.

Will furrowed his eyebrows in concern, "Mercedes, you okay?"

"My stomach hurts" she moaned, "I think I'm gonna be sick."

"Why are you babying her?" Santana coughed, "I mean she can't do three steps without puking because she ate Quinzo's before she showed up at this joint."

"Mercedes, have you eaten today?" Alexis frowned, sitting next to her and rubbing her back comfortingly.

"Yeah- But when else am I meant to eat? Mr Schue, with school, glee club and booty camp, you have us scheduled to the second right now."

"You eat when the rest of us do."

"It's not about eating" Will denied, "it's about attitude. Sectionals are coming up, and if we don't give it our all-"

"I'm doing my best!" Mercedes interrupted.

"No you're not. It's not about doing your best anymore- it's doing better." Will sighed as the bell rang, "Everyone showed up. See you after school."

Alexis quickly sped up to Mercedes, panic apparent on her face, "Cedes, make sure to eat- okay? Don't listen to Will, your health is more important than sectionals."

"Thanks girl" a small smile found itself on Mercedes' face in response.

She watched Mercedes walk ahead with more of a skip in her step; before bouncing over to Mike and beaming, "So, I auditioned for Anita and I totally smashed it!"

"Cool." Mike said bluntly, stuffing his headphones and jumped into his gym bag.

"Mike, why won't you look at me?" Lex frowned, "have I done something?"

"Not everything is about you, Alexis!" Mike snapped, "We all have our own problems- it's not always to do with you!"

And with that he stormed off in a fit of anger, his gym bag swinging harshly on his shoulder as he walked.
