Voilet's POV:

Looking over at the packed bags one last time, I finally sat down on the couch nearby. Girls will be arriving soon, I thought as the moments of evening replayed in my mind.

“OMG! I can’t believe one week just flew by and day after tomorrow is your wedding!!” Izzy danced excitedly in the bakery and Madeline rushed to join her.

“I still can’t believe that you hid your boy friend from me…” Madeline complained as she joined me back at the counter. I didn’t tell Madeline the truth and she was mad at me for first two whole days but I finally convinced her how my “future husband” didn’t want so much attention. She kept on asking me questions and I told her how Ashley introduced us. Well, that was the half truth. This week was the weirdest week of my life as I got so much media attention and Alistair arranged two body guards for me as well who just stood outside the bakery to avoid any sort of trouble. The customers also increased, mostly crazy fan girls asking me to ask my *fiancée* to sign their dairy and stuff. It was annoying and I just kept on thinking about how my life has changed. I had almost lost my appetite and I barely slept at night. I guess thinking of it all just made stomach all weird and mushy.

“You know, tonight we will throw you THE BEST BRIDAL SHOWER EVER!” Izzy screamed excitedly and again started dancing like crazies.

“Izzy, can I talk to you?” I said, avoiding Madeline’s ‘what’s the big secret gaze’.

Izzy rushed to the kitchen and I followed her in.

“You know this is not even a real wedding!” I said, suddenly sadness drenched my voice.

“I know… but please can we pretend it is…I mean c’mon you are getting married and what’s the harm if your couple of friends throws you a party? Being all sulky won’t change anything and the way you are acting would definitely hurt your mom if she was here.” Izzy began to reason. I just closed my eyes wishing Alistair Scott to be replaced by my ‘Price Charming’.

“Okay…” I sighed and Izzy smiled and hugged me. This girrlll!

“But please smile?! Your face expressions are as if it is you funeral tomorrow or maths test result rather than your wedding!” Izzy said her hands reaching my face and trying to stretch my lips in to a grin.

I finally smiled and thought to myself why not just pretend I am marrying my prince charming. At least it won’t take away today’s peace and happiness.

“What’s up?” Madeline asked as soon we returned.

“Oh… Violet just having pre wedding jitters…” Izzy said winking at me. I smiled warmly for the first time in whole week.

*.*.*

I heard a door bell and I stood up clearly knowing who it was. I dashed to the door and opened it up and saw Izzy with around six girls, all my close friends. Madeline rushed to hug me and I laughed and hugged her back.

“We brought a veilll!” Kiara said, as she gently placed a white veil over head.

The night went on and the wedding shower actually ended up being pretty well!

I was tired and a little drunk as I barely dragged myself to my bed.

My phone buzzed and I looked up to see it was Alistair’s number.

“Heelllooo!” I said, half laughing and then tripping over the packed bags.

“Hey, my driver will pick you up in the morning and our wedding is at…” before he could complete his sentence I cut him off.
