I wish for us to never fall apart for one day we will all grow old together. We will be together to the end. Please don't let this go. Pinky promise me that you'll never let go.
"Yoongi can you tell me the story again please?" A small Jimin asked Yoongi.
For all three of the boys, Yoongi, Hoseok and Jimin, this was their favorite story.
"Of course. Gather around and listen to the tale of the old peasant. Now I might need some help cause I don't know if I remember it all." Yoongi smiled as the younger two laughed.
The sound of their laughter brought a warm feeling to Yoongi's chest.
"Once there was an old peasant that lived in a huge kingdom. He was cursed with...oh what was he cursed with?" Yoongi pretended to think.
"He had the curse of love." Jimin laughed while helping Yoongi out.
"You are correct. The old peasant had the curse of love. Not many people had this curse. If you did people hated you. It was no different for this peasant. He would walk around and try to give people his love. Why was that? Oh my I can't remember. "
"It was because love wasn't a curse it was a gift." This time a happy Hoseok joined in.
"Correct! No one knew this though. They thought it was a curse because it is so hard to get. The peasant tried to give people his love but they turned him away. What would he do? Oh I know it's on the tip of my tongue. Oh yeah that's right he would leave a piece on every doorstep he visited hoping people would accept his love. Every day the town's people would just throw his love away. The people always wondered how he had so much love. It was simple. He had two great friends. They were called the forest people. They lived in the forest right by the kingdom. Every day he would meet with the forest people and he would give them the rest of his love. In return they loved him twice as much. They didn't only give him love, they gave him hope. That as far as the story gets. He is still writing out his story." Yoongi finished the story while looking at the two boys.
Jimin and Hoseok had the stars in their eyes while listening to the story.
"I hope he has a happy ending." Jimin whispered.
"Me too." Yoongi also whispered.
The story of the old peasant has been their story for as long as they can remember. The old peasant represents themselves as the forest people represented each other.
- Present day -
"Do you guys remember the old peasant story?" Yoongi asked both boys.
"How could we forget our story?" Jimin laughed.
"Well he has just written a new chapter and I think it is time to share." Yoongi told them with a gentle smile.
They made their way into the nurses office and laid Hoseok on the little bed. Both boys grabbed the two chairs and sat on either side of Hoseok bed.
"Tell us the story." Hoseok gently whispered as if he spoke to loud then the story wouldn't be told.
"The old peasant fell in love with the forest people. He never knew if they liked him back though. It saddened him a lot. He just wants to know their feelings but doesn't know what to do. Their smiled brighten up his days and make his miserable life worth living. That's where he ended this chapter and now he is writing the next." Yoongi continued the story.
"Little does he know that one of the forest people love him." Jimin started to add on.
"Make that both of them." Hoseok finished.
All three of the boys knew what was happening but all were afraid to admit what was going through their minds.
"Sadly the old peasant had to leave though. His mother wanted him to move far away with her due to family issues." Yoongi barely spoke.
They all looked somewhere but each other.
"Guys my parents are getting a divorce and my mom wants me to move to Japan with her." Yoongi spoke trying hard not to cry.
"Yoongi please just leave the room right now." Jimin answered Yoongi with a harsh tone that neither Yoongi or Hoseok have ever heard from the youngest.
Yoongi left the room and sat against the lockers crying. Who knew you could lose two friends in a blink of an eye. It hurts more than anyone can ever imagine. The feeling of emptiness filled Yoongi as he looked blankly at the grey lockers in front of him. One can help but to feel lost. It's not something a person can control though. We wish we could but we can't. We are forced to do as we are told.
There is no going back for Yoongi now. He leaves with his mother tomorrow and he isn't coming back.
It hurts doesn't it? Having to watch your friends leave you before you could explain yourself, even before you could say goodbye. Self hatred will soon replace the emptiness you feel.
Dragging himself off the floor he made his way out of the school building and down the lonely road. Who knew a road could describe you're own emotion. It's empty just like yourself. You can't help but hate everything you see.
Yoongi glanced back at the school one last time.
"This is my final goodbye." He whispered to himself.
He knew no one else would hear it but, he had to get it out somehow. It didn't have to end like this but you made it like this. I want to stay with you and be one once again. Now everyone can get what they wish for though. I should have held your pinky tighter. Maybe we could all still be together.
A/N:
This is alot different from the original chapter 4. This one gets more of the emotion i want out
