I realized you were different yesterday. You were better. You shone. You held me by my hand and your fingers were much gentle than ever. You let me borrow your shoulder to hit when I was laughing at your jokes. You spoke to me a love song.
It could have been a dream. But how was I asleep just now, and you're still beside me? You soundlessly cause chaos for another day with me, and motionlessly move dark clouds from above.
Then you move. As you open your eyes, I'm the first thing you see.
You smile. I smile. Did the sun smile, too?
I didn't question what happened to you— what made you kinder. What made you held me tighter than before. Perhaps you realized I was different yesterday, and for the better of us, you didn't want me to change.

A/n: it's like a couple having a fight, and he's realized his mistakes and how bad had it been a day (or few) without her. When they made up, (which was "yesterday"), he treated her better, because "yesterday" as well, she wasn't herself bc of the fight.
...i hope that made sense HAHA.
