----------------------------------

"Sir!" We all stood at attention.

"At ease, Agents. This mission is of the utmost importance." The Director looked at us with a cold glare.

I know what you've done, Director. I will not let this project go down with you. "Sir, if I may ask, who'll be leading us?"

"Agent Carolina. She will be in charge of this mission, Agents."

The briefing continued and Six and York made a sudden appearance. We were assigned to Team A with Carolina, Maine, and Washington while Team B was the Dakotas, Wyoming, and C.T. Several more Agents were assigned to the teams and then we got onto Pelicans. As we flew, I noticed Six eyeing the extra Agents with a bit of fear.

------------------------------

Six's POV:

Jun bumped me. "Six, you ok?" He talked through NOBLE's frequency.

"Yeah. I had a strange dream involving me protecting them from a collapsing building. Super strange, right?"

Jun nodded, then got ready to jump. I stood beside him, drawing my DMR, and the rest of the team prepped alongside us.

"Alright, team! Light is green!" Carolina hit the deploy button and we leaped out, hitting the ground running.

Suppressors on our guns, we rushed into the battle, quickly securing the first floor. After a quick pan around, Carolina turned around and pointed at two of our team.

"Zona, Penny, I want you two down here to make sure we don't get jumped, alright?"

Zona and Penny nodded, then ducked into shadowed cover. We continued to make our way up the building, Jun and I taking point. After taking out the guards before the vault, I walked up to the holographic lock and began to pick.

"Dude! That's my job!" York was right beside me.

I glared at him. "Sorry, but I don't think you're cut for holos. Next time we come across one with a keyhole, you're up."

"Hmph. Fine."

I finished the picking and the door opened to the vault, letting us inside. When we walked in, Jun and I stopped at the amount of Covenant weaponry.

"Woah. This... This is a lot of Covenant things for a vault." Jun's rifle was drooping.

I noticed several Banshees hanging from the roof. "Yeah... Hey, wanna take those Banshees off the roof? You know, for good measure."

"Good thinkin', Rhode. You go ahead and do it."

Carolina coughed. "Sorry, but let's get back to work. Our mission is finding the Sarcophagus, not to goof off with weaponry we know nothing about."

I cut a Banshee down. "Oh, don't worry. We've found it already. It's that." I pointed at the massive box.

"That?" Carolina looked at the Sarcophagus.

"Yeah, that."

"Heads up! Guards have just found the bodies and are moving to the vault! Get ready!" York came on our comms.

I put a hand on my helmet. "Copy that. Stay safe, York."

Jun looked up at me and we shared nods before giving advice to the team. "Carolina, grab these. plasma rounds and you don't have to wait for the rounds to leave the barrel. Perfect for someone as speedy as you. Maine, why don't you grab a Brute Shot? It'll suit you." Jun tossed the weapons to the Agents.

Carolin deftly grabbed the plasma rifles and looked at them, impressed. Maine held his new Brute Shot by his side and grunted, happy. Washington looked at the weapons, confused.

"Uh, which one's good for me?"

Jun looked at him, definitely grinning under his helmet. "This."

Washington grabbed the plasma pistol and looked at it, confused. "What? But it's so tiny!"

Jun laughed, then grabbed a 'pink mist'. "Just kidding. This kind of weapon's good for you." He tossed it over. "A Needler. Shoots those crystals that if enough get into you, boom. Firing speed starts off kinda slow but quickly picks up the longer you hold the trigger. To reload, it's just a flick of the wrist." jun mimed the reloading process.

Wash let off several shots, then successfully reloaded the alien gun. He then looked at a Beam Rifle and threw it over to Jun.

"Here."

He caught it, then put it down. "Thanks, but I prefer bullets to beams."

Wash then looked up at me. "What weapon do you like?"

I smiled. "This."

I cut the cords on the Banshee I was on, then climbed into the open cockpit. Activating the ship, it started to hover above the ground, slowly moving forwards. The team looked at me in awe while Jun got in the Banshee I cut down for him.

"Woah. That has got to be the coolest plane..." Carolina gazed at us, awed.

"... Of all time." Wash finished her sentence for her.

Suddenly, the door began to spark. I primed the fuel-rod cannon. "They're cutting through!"

We all got ready for battle, and when the rebels bust through, they got a fuel-rod to the face.

"OPEN FIRE!"
