I watched as the two Spartans fell down. Blue Team rushed over to the Master Chief while Tex, Xi and I rushed to Six/Rhode's aid.
Kneeling down, I began to tend the wounds the Master Chief delt him. "Hang on, Rhode! You're going to be okay!"
Hearing laughter behind me, I turned around to see Covenant. Suddenly, their chests burst open and when they fell down, I saw Covenant forces with smoking guns.
"Why'd they-?"
A Spartan suddenly tackled me, protecting me from some walking popcorn-like thing. "FLOOD! Fall back! FALL BACK!"
My eyes grew wide and I scrambled away, firing at the zombie-like Elites who were lumbering towards us. Rushing over to Rhode, I tried to pick him up but failed.
"I'll carry him. You cover us."
Texas picked him up effortlessly and I scowled under my helmet. Show-off.
Rolling to avoid a spore(?), I blasted it with my plasma rifle and ran away from the horde, which was a good idea, given how a SPARTAN CALLED IN AN ORBITAL BOMBARDMENT FROM THE MOTHER OF INVENTION AND BURNED THE FLOOD ALIVE.
*Cough cough*
