We all arrive at the museum on foot. ACHIEVEMENT!
"Come on." Mal tells us. "Check your mirror."
"Is my mascara smudged?" Evie looks at her reflection in the mirror.
"Yeah. And, hey, while you're at it, why don't you see if you can find us the wand?" Mal looks at her.
"Sure. This way." Evie leads us to the back of the museum. We look through the windows on the door to see a guard.
"Wanna see something funny?" I ask. The others look at me. I walk backwards and I sing. "Seaweed, you're my black white knight. I've found my blue eyed soul!" The others hide behind the wall and give me angry looks. I just shrug and smile and I light another cig. I join them back at the door. "Utani."
"That's your mother's spinning wheel?" Jay laughs at Maleficent's spinning wheel.
"Yeah, it's kinda dorky." Carlos joins in.
"It's magic. It doesn't have to look scary." Mal opens a book. "Magic spindle, do not linger. Make my victim prick a finger." The guard looks at the spinning wheel.
"Impressive." Jay says sarcastically.
"I got chills." Carlos laughs a bit too loud.
"Okay, you know what?" Mal finds a different spell. "Prick the finger, prick it deep. Send my enemy off to sleep." The guard pricks his finger and he falls asleep.
"Someone's getting fired in the morning." I take a puff. I think of myself with a croaky voice and I drop my cigarette on the ground.
"Not so dorky now, huh?" Mail tries to open the door.
"Stand back." Jay walks backwards.
"Make it easy, make it quick, open up without a kick." Mal reads from the book and the doors fly open as Jay tries to kick them down. We all laugh at him.
"Coming?" Mal laughs.
"Come on, Jay." Carlos tries helping Jay up.
Jay pushes him away and gets up himself. "I'm good."
"Just trying to help." Carlos looks at me. I giggle.
"Shh." Mal says as we sneak around the guard. "Carlos!"
"Coming." Carlos runs up to us and we all start running.
"So close. Upstairs." Evie leads us up a flight of stairs.
"Come on. Go, go, go, go. Up, up, up, up, up." Mal runs behind me.
"Come on, guys. Almost there." Evie leads us into a room which has statues of Maleficent, Evil Queen, Jafar and Cruella de Vil. "Mommy?"
"Killer." Jay absent mindedly grabs my hand and my heart skips a beat.
"I will never forget Mother's Day again." Carlos says.
"Well, the wand's not here. Let's bounce. Let's go." Jay leads us away. We carry on running until...
"Where's Mal?" Evie groans and she runs back for Mal. She comes back.
"So...where is she?" I ask.
"Give her some time." Evie shakes her head. We check the next room and I immediately spot my dads, The Lion Guard, Zira and Scar and Nuka, and...her.
I run up to her. "I'm sorry I chose this path, mom." I kneel down and my eyes shine ocean blue.
"Penda?" Evie walks up to me with the boys. I can hear their footsteps.
"Please forgive me, mommy. I blame myself for all the stupid things I've done. I don't know who else to be, but myself. I know I'm a bad girl, but I don't know what to do. I'm so confused." I pray for a moment. "Shango, bless you." I feel tears in my eyes and I let them fall. "Mommy, I love you and I always will." I cry into the statue. "Flower, gleam and glow. Let your power shine. Make the clock reverse. Bring back what once was mine. Heal what has been hurt. Change the fate's design. Save what has been lost. Bring back what once was mine, what once was mine."
"Are you okay?" Carlos asks me.
I stand up. "This my mother, Vitani. You know, Zira's daughter. She was very sick when I was born and she died so Simba gave me to Timon and Pumbaa." I sighed. A figure of a woman emerged from the statue of my mother. "Mommy!" We hug.
"You really think I'm disappointed in you?" Mom strokes my hair.
"Well, yeah. You turned to the good side." I step away from our hug. Mom snatches my sword and she studies it. "Once you turn good, you can't go back. That's what Ben told me once."
"But I will always be evil." She smirks. "And that's what I want you and your friends to do."
"What?" I tilt my head to one side.
Mom starts to sing. "I was once like you, my kids, slightly insecure. Argued with my mother too, thought I was mature. But I put my heart aside and I used my head. Now I think it's time you learned what dear old mamma said." Mom sat me down on Nuka's back along with my friends. "Don't you wanna be evil like me? Don't you wanna be mean? Don't you wanna make mischief your daily routine? Well, you can spend your life attending to the poor, but when you're evil doing less is doing more. Don't you wanna be ruthless and rotten and mad? Don't you wanna be very, very good at being bad?" She swings my sword around her fingers. "I have tried my whole life long to do the worst I can. Clawed my way to victory, built mom's master plan. Now the time has come, my dears, for you to take your place. Promise me you'll try to be an absolute disgrace." She stands us up. "Don't you wanna be evil like me? Don't you wanna be cruel? Don't you wanna be nasty and brutal and cool?" She throws my sword at me and I catch it. "And when you grab that wand that's when your reign begins. Who wants an evil queen without a sack of sins?" She claps her hands so I throw my sword back to her. "Don't you wanna be heartless and hardened as stone? Don't you wanna be finger licking evil to the bone? This is not for us to ponder, this was preordained. You and I shall rule together. Freedom soon regain. Princess of the Outlanders, powerful and strong. Children, hear me, help me, join me. Won't you sing along?" We stand in a line with her and she swings the sword into our hands.
A rush of evil flies through me as the five of us start dancing and singing with the sword. "Now we're gonna be evil! It's true! Never gonna think twice!"
"And we're gonna be spiteful!" I pull my sword towards me.
"Yes, spiteful! That's nice." Mom takes my sword from us. "In just an hour or two our future's safe and sure." Mom leads us to her podium. "This mother-daughter act is going out on tour." Mom gives me my sword and I feel so powerful with it. "If you wanna be evil and awful and free then you should thank your lucky star that you were born the girl you are, the daughter of an evilicious queen like me!" Thunder roars and mom's a statue again.
"I like her." Jay nods at me.
"Lets go." Evie runs off to find the wand. Me and the boys follow her. We find the wand and Evie gets Mal. Mal comes to us. "Here it is."
"Whoo!" Jay leads up to where the wand actually stands and he tries to grab it. Uh-oh.
"Jay, don't! Wait, no! No! Don't!" We shout at him but it's too late. The force field stops him and the alarm goes off. "Ah!" We scream.
"A force field and a siren?" Carlos looks around us.
"That's just a little excessive!" Jay looks at me for some help.
"Let's go!" Male leads us away.
"Hurry!" Evie grabs my wrist.
"Come on." Mal shouts at us.
"Hello? Uh, uh, just give me one second. One second." Carlos turns off the alarm. "Uh, yeah, yeah. No, false alarm. It was a malfunction in the, uh, in the seven one four chip in the breadboard circuit. Yeah. Okay. Say hi to the Mrs."
"Carlos!" Mal shouts at him.
"You're welcome." Carlos walks up to me. We all run out of the museum.
"Way to go, Jay. Now we have to go to school tomorrow." Male scolds at him.
