My name is Tris Prior. I'm twenty years old and I came to Chicago to become a news reporter. All throughout high school, I was one of the writers in the school newspaper. I wanted to go to collage to become a publishing teacher and so I did.
But of course that didn't happen the way I wanted it to work out. I had so much ideas, that I wanted to write about. To get people excited and I just couldn't deal with going to collage for something I didn't want to be anymore.
That's when I decided that I wanted to become a news reporter. But the place I wanted to write about was in Chicago. So by age twenty I dropped out of collage and I went to Chicago.
Yeah my parents weren't thrilled about it but in my heart I was sure that's what I wanted to do. That's what I needed to do. So I rented out a apartment and that's what I had to do. But I fell in love with this handsome guy next door.
He was my neighbor and he was only two years older than me. I met some of his friends. I made a best friend her name is Christina. She is the most funniest and honest person I have ever met.
Then I met Uriah, he is also the most exciting and funniest person I met too along with his brother. But yeah my neighbor Tobias, I was expecting to fall in love with.
We started as neighbors, then as friends then eventually we realized we were meant for each other. But there is something in life I have realized is that.
Nothing can split love apart, not even death; not even after the moonlight.
"We'll Miss Prior, your story was not we were looking for,"
I take a deep breath and I uncross my legs. "I know Miss Jackson, but this story doesn't have to be a rumor or a story to make people look bad it's a story about a journey in life," I say.
And that's what life is, a journey
