Zoe kept repeating the words Taehyung had said to her over and over in her head. They helped her realize that no matter what was happening he would be there for her. "I'm sorry I didn't notice what you were doing earlier" she said in a quiet voice
Taehyung smiled softly and planted a friendly kiss on her forehead. "Don't apologize, I should have told you what I was doing in the first place and I never should have said what I said." He said with a nod. A soft blush spread across Zoe's cheeks giving them a light splash of color on her pale skin. The female's eyes were a little puffy from crying and with the light splash of color on her cheeks she looked just like a little kid, flustered by a friendly kiss on the forehead.
'Stop getting flustered so easily... You can't be like this' she mentally chastised herself, this wasn't the time to get flustered and she really shouldn't be getting flustered by Taehyung of all people. The male was her best friend for crying out loud.
Taehyung had noticed that Zoe had spaced out slightly so he just chuckled and waved a hand in front of her face "Earth to Zo" he said while waving his hand. Just this movement caused the female to slightly flinch and snap out of her little trance like state.
"Huh? Oh sorry I guess I spaced out.. Anyways... Um how about we play a game or something?" The female asked with a soft look in her eyes and a small smile accompanied by the blush on her cheeks that didn't seem to go away.
Taehyung thought for a little bit before smiling and nodding. "Sure! But first lets get you out of your uniform and into something more comfortable. I think I might have some of your clothes here from the last time you stayed over but if not you can always put on some of my clothes" he smiled and laughed even though he wasn't joking at all. The male hummed softy and walked over to the couch getting two controllers out and a box of games. "Hm... Which one?..." He mumbled to himself
Zoe rolled her eyes slightly at his suggestion but then nodded and giggled. "I'm sure there's something of mine in there" she commented before walking into his room and closing the door. There she looked around the well lit room that was fairly blank but pleasing to the eye... If you didn't pay attention to the floor at all. It wasn't that messy but it was still a mess. With a sigh the younger female walked over to his dresser and went through the drawer that normally had some of her clothes in it. "Huh... Weird.. I could have sworn I had at least some sweats and a t-shirt in here... Oh well" with a shrug the girl walked over to his closet and started going through some of the clothes that had a possibility in fitting her a little better than the rest.
Within a few minutes Zoe came around one of his larger shirts, she decided that if it was long enough she could pull it off as a dress. Since the girl couldn't find any sweatpants of hers or any of his that could even come close to fitting her. With a slight sigh she nodded and took the oversized shirt off of the hanger before taking her clothes off and putting the shirt on. It didn't cover as much as she wanted it to... She could pull it down all she wanted but anyone could see the scars on her thighs. The scars were an arrangement of skinny and long, thick and short, and thick and long. The markings went almost down to her knees but stopped around half way down her thighs.
"Damn..." Zoe muttered before shrugging and putting her uniform in her drawer and walking out of Taehyung's room and then into the living room, plopping down next to the male trying her best to cover her legs.
"I take it you didn't have any clothes in your drawer?" He asked with a playful smirk before noticing her covering her legs "Zoe... Please don't be afraid to show me your legs. You've fought a long and hard battle and you are so so strong... those scars are just your battle wounds... girls like you shouldn't have to fight alone or even fight at all... Next time.." Taehyung paused and took her hand gently "Let me fight the battle for you" he spoke sincerely while looking into her eyes.
Hearing Taehyung's words just brought tears to Zoe's eyes. She had never thought about fighting through everything on her own.. Never asking for help, never showing how much hurt she had on the inside, yet Taehyung somehow saw through all her fake smiles and laughs. "Taehyung..." She managed to get out before just breaking into tears and hugging him tightly, tighter than she's ever hugged him before.
"It's okay Zoe... You don't have to say anything" he said softly while hugging her back and softly humming to calm the female down. This was the beginning... He was going to help her get over everything and he wouldn't stop trying.. Ever
