"This is ridiculous

"This is ridiculous." Rhea huffed as she sat down on the couch with a thud. For the past two days she'd been living with Jay and Will, and it was driving her absolutely insane. As much as she loved both men, she hated how they hovered over her constantly. She could take care of herself, she had been doing it for long enough. Sure she was scared but she could put up a fight and she refused to let the people she cared about the most get hurt.

Will rolled his eyes as he sat down next to her, "It's only for a few days more. You'll be fine." He knew how much she hated being watched over all the time, hence why she left home as soon as she could and refused to get too close to other people, it was why they got along so well.

"I can't help it, you know how much I hate it when people hover. You and Jay are no exception. I can't wait till my parent get here, at least then I don't have to worry about seeing you half naked again," Rhea spoke to her best friend as she shivered in disgust. Despite being best friends with Will, seeing him half naked had scarred her for life.

"It's not my fault, I'm not used to having you around so much. Are you hungry, I can order us a pizza?"

Rhea looked at him with a raised eyebrow, "Have I ever turned down food?"

"Of course you wouldn't, you love food more than life itself."

"Exactly, so why are you asking?"

"I was trying to be polite."

Rhea scoffed, "But you're not polite, at all."

"Bitch."

"Jerk."

"I have missed you both so much," Rhea squealed as she hugged her parents

"I have missed you both so much," Rhea squealed as she hugged her parents. It had been a while since she'd seen them both and she had truly missed the two people that cared about her unconditionally.

David laughed, "We missed you too kiddo. How has our darling doing been doing?"

Rhea smiled, "I've been good. A lot has happened since the last time I saw you both but I don't really want to talk about it. I just want to spend time with my parents. I've missed you both."

"We've missed you too, sweetie. I'm happy you decided to do what made you happy. We are so proud of you, nothing is going to that. I will always be your mother and I will always be here for you." Cathrine smiled as she hugged her daughter once again. The two women were having a hard time letting go of each other but neither said anything.

Rhea could feel herself tear up, "It's so good to have you both here. I've missed having my crazy parents around."

"Trust us, darling, we've missed you too."

After a long visit, it was finally nighttime and Rhea could relax. "Someone seems happy," Jay smiled as he found Rhea sat on the couch, watching Jurassic Park.

Rhea looked up at him with a grin, "It's been a great day. I missed you today though."

Jay laid down on the couch with his head on her lap, "I missed you too. How was spending the day with your parents?"

"Amazing, it was great seeing them again. I've missed having their support, coming back to Chicago with no support system has been hard so I'm more than grateful that they are here. At least for a while. I'm glad I get to be there for my mother without having to worry about her health and well-being everyday since I can't actually see her. I want you to meet them tomorrow morning for breakfast, if that's okay?" Rhea asked nervously.

Jay smiled, "I would love to."

"Great. I can't wait for you to meet them."
