Charlie's POV

"Order in the court room!" The judge wearing a very ridiculous wig and a black gown shouted.

Leo was sitting next to me waiting for the judge to ask him to speak, shaking.
I slowly reached for his hand and stroked it with the pad of my thumb. He relaxed a little at my touch although he was still shaking.

"Mrs. Lenehan, you are charged with attempted murder , assault and deliberate child abuse of which you committed on the 10th of May 2018. Do you plead guilty or not guilty?" The judge asked directly to my Mum.

She looked at me and i stared back angrily hoping that it would make her make the right choice.

"Not Guilty." She said.

No no no no no. She hurt my baby, she needs to face up to what she has done.

Leo looked at me with terror clear in his beautiful , big brown eyes.
I squeezed his hand lightly to reassure him.

"Mrs. Lenehan, would you care to explain what happened that night that makes you not guilty of the current charges that are against you?" The jugde urged her.

"I-i had nothing to do with this. I have no idea who did it and why they did it but i would definitely not do that to Leondre. He is like my second son."
She replied innocently.

What bullshit is she talking about?

I felt Leo clench up as anger boiled up inside him. I secretly put my arm around his lower waist to comfort him. I've never seen him act like this. I've never seen him this hurt. I only want to see his beautiful smile but because of the liar infront of me, that smile is pretty much gone.

He leaned into my touch and gave me a soft smile. His eyes were glossy and his cheek's were red. I could tell that he was going to cry but there was nothing i could do.

A tear slid down his face and i turned him to me and wiped it away with my thumb.

Leo stormed out of the court room silently crying and i followed after him.

I found him curled up, knees to his chest in the corner.

"Leo, baby, don't cry." I said walking up to him but he just sobbed even harder.

"Come here." I said and he got up onto his feet and fell into my chest.

"I-i can't do it charlie."  He stuttered.

I held him tighter to comfort him.

"All you have to do is tell them what happened that night and then we can leave. I promise you that it will be fine." I said soothingly.

"I-I'm sorry. Why am i such a cry baby?" Leo said.

"You're not a crybaby, leo. You are just nervous. It's okay to cry sometimes and I'd rather you cry than you bottle it up. I love you, okay?" I said rubbing his back.

"I-i love you too." He sobbed.

I lifted his chin up with my finger and planted a passionate kiss onto his perfect lips. He kissed back straight away.

We stood there kissing for about five minutes until i realized where we were. I pulled away and Leo let out a whimper to the loss of contact. I pulled him into my arms again and he hugged back.

"Lion, we have to go back in now but i promise when it's finished I will take you to the mall and we can get lots of sweets and popcorn, order a pizza and cuddle watching a movie." I promised him
