Charlie's POV

I awoke next to my beautiful , snoring boyfriend.

My wrists were burning and itching.

"Cut cut cut cut cut cut cut cut cut cut cut"

The voice chanted in my mind.

"No not again." I muttered in response .

"Cut cut cut, C'mon you know you want to."  The voice said.

"I'm not listening." I replied.

"Babe?" Leo said concerned.

He turned to look at me and put a hand around my waist.

"Baby, what are you not listening to?" He asked me calmly.

"Don't tell him he'll think you are a freak. " The voice warned me.

"Um..." I stuttered. What should I tell him? I can't lie to him.

"The voice." I blurted out.

"You should have listened to me. He hates you now."

"You hate me now, don't you? You think I'm a freak. Why am I such a fuck up?!" I cried to Leo.

" Charlie, I could never hate you. I love you so much. You can tell me anything and I promise that I won't judge you. " He promised.

"Don't trust him Charlie. He'll get you locked up." The voice boomed in my brain.

"Now can you explain to me what the voice is saying to you?" Leo added.

"I told you. He wants more information so he can get you locked up for longer." The voice accused.

"Will you tell anyone what I say?" I asked Leo.

"Of course not baby. I promise that what ever you say to me stays between me and you. " Leo replied.

"The voice is telling me to cut." I said.

" Fuck, you've definitely freaked him out now. " The voice responded.

"Baby, don't listen to the voice. You don't need to cut. All you need are cuddled and kisses. It's less painful and you will feel better after. I promise that I will save you baby." Leo said pulling me into his arms.

I buried my head into his chest. I'm not usually the little spoon but I really needed to be held.

"Try and get some sleep baby boy and if you need anything just wake me up." Leo told me.

I nodded I response and closed my eyes with my wrist still itching and burning.

Sorry that this was such a short chapter but I need to have some short chapters in the story in order for something big to happen in the future. I already have the plot in my mind and I am going somewhere with this Voice hearing and self harming story line.
