erika pov:
I woke you to the sound of my alarm, stretched for a bit, looked at my snaps, than finally i rolled out of bed. i took a shower, did two dutch braids, but on white crop top, black joggers and put on my timberlands. i finished getting ready my putting my make up, brushing my teeth and all that jazz. then i grab my bag walked down the stairs.
angle: good morning rik!
as she said embracing me with a hug
erika: morning! where's jc and morgan?
angle: they are getting ready
erika: oh okay!
dan: hey morin tricky rik!
erika: morin dan! (says while giggling)
angle: rik, your shake is in the fridge don't forget it !!
erika: thx mom!.... JC MORGAN GET YOUR ASSES DOWN HERE IF YOU WANT TO GO TO DUNKIN ON THE WAY!
dan: why are you yelling
erika: because they come faster

dan: oh lordy lord well you kids have a great day on you first day of school!
jc and morgan are running down the stairs

i wake up to my mom yelling
pam: JAKE GET YOUR ASS UP YOUR GONNA BE LATE!
jake: LATE FOR WHAT?! as he checks his phone
pam: SCHOOL YOU DING BAT!
jake: SHIT WHY DIDNT YOU WAKE ME UP EARLIER?!

i got up out of bed took the fastest shower of my life. i throw on my football jersey#21 and a pair of black joggers with my white yeezy's, i put a lil bit of gel in my hair and grab my white hat put in on backwards. run downstairs, grab my bag, keys, and shake. next thing you know i'm out the door.
jake: bye ma!
pam: bye jakey luv yah!
i got in my car and get a text:

toner: could you bring me to school today

i head to toners, then we are off to school.
about 15 mins later we get to school and see the rest of the gang waiting for us.
jake: what's up guys

jake: tessa, you trying out for the soccer and cheer team this year?
tessa: i mean i want to but, you know i haven't really played my hardest since you know.....

we get to school. it looks as if almost the whole school is outside. as soon as we got out the car morgan and jc ran off to see there old friends. like i said before we did live in ohio for awhile before michigan. ohio had so many great memories i met my best friend here and we cheered and played soccer together in elementary, a little in middle school too before i left. after i left for michigan playing soccer or cheering was never the same but i still did it. as i the memories flooded back to my head i heard a voice i never thought i would ever hear again. i turn around to see tessa running at me so i run to meet her!
tessa: erika costell!???
erika:tessa brooks!!!
tessa: oh my lanta your really here!! ( says while squealing)
erika: i've misses you so much!
tessa:hey, i heard about what happened in michigan 😔 are you okay rik??
erika:...um...(tessa hugged me) yeah i guess. right now isn't the place to talk about it maybe later?
tessa: of course i'm just glad to have my bestie back! it's been rough without you! but at least we kept in touch. speaking of which why didn't you tell me about you movin back?
erika: one i forgot and two.... idk
we laughed for a bit.
jake pov:
tessa ran over to the girl and they started talking, squealing, then laughing. is this really what girls are like? well i guess it's good that tessa can talk to someone and actually relate to since you know i'm a dude. me and the crew were talking until i heard tessa yell for us. toner grabbed tessa bag and brought it over to her.
erika pov:
tessa yelled and motioned a group of boys over here. i'm not gonna lie one of them is cute, the blonde one. when they can over we were introduced.
tessa: erika this is jake (pointing to the blonde one)

tessa: this is anthony also non as toner and tony
tony: hey
tessa: and this is ...... ( chance cuts off tessa)

erika: whoa..... well i haven't even stepped foot into the school yet. but to answer your question only if you do it so what do you say how about we show ohio a little bit of t and e???

erika: okay how about y'all come over after school and we can practice a bit before?

jake: so what classes to you have can i see you scheduled?
erika: sure ( i pull it out of my bag hand it too him)
jake: well looks like well are all in the same classes senior year is gonna be great!!!
the school bell goes off and we head to our lockers which are some what near eachother tessa a locker away from me and the boys are across the hall. than i see this girl walk up to tessa and slap her books out of her hand.

i step in front of tessa the boys hustle over.
erika: look i dont know who you are or what who you think you are picking on my friend tessa but she's a great person so next time watch it! ( i say getting in her face)
?: oooohhh look who it is a newbie! well tell you something i'm alissa violet and i run this school ,head cheer captain , head captain of the varsity soccer team, i'm also popular, not to mention you see him ( she points to jake who's helping tessa) well yeah he's mine!
i give a weird face to tessa she shrugged
erika: well let me tell you something i'm erika costell, i'm a competitive soccer player who won states not once but three times, i'm also a captain cheerleading, not to mention i'm a pretty big deal ( saying the last part mocking alissa)
alissa: don't mock me! i don't sound like that!
erika: your right i'm sorry that i bruises you ego😢 need a tissue 😉 you want to figure out who's better well let's have a friendly competition!
alissa: i'm listening
rest of the school: go on!!
erika: tryouts who ever makes the team next day on the field we scrimmage you pick your team and i pick mine and let's have the school vote who gets captain!
rest of the school: agreed
alissa: i'm in
just than the principal mr.crompton walks over
mr. crompton: did i hear a competition?
whole school: yeah you did erika vs. alissa for captain of cheer and soccer team!
mr.crompton: okay i'm down i'll make announcement today! i'll even make a voting poll so y'all can vote but not until the day of! now get to class!
we are walking to class it's pretty boring all i could hear was people whispering about me vs. alissa.
tony: dam erika you got fire!
