TWO MONTHS LATER
erika pov:
this week is jake and i's two months anniversary not to mention it's homecoming at the end of the month!! that means jake and i are going to be very busy this month between his big homecoming game, along with mine. not to mention all the practicing. i lost my train of thought when i heard foot steps coming up the stairs.
jake: rise and shine my little goat!
i look over to see jake standing above me
erika: jake!
i jumped up to hug him
erika: you've been gone so long! *squeezed him*
jake: it was only a week
erika: i thought you weren't supposed to be here this week? aren't you supposed to come back next week?
jake: nah my mom mixed up the weeks, logan is staying for to weeks and i was staying for one. plus i couldn't miss our two month by being at a football retreat camp, that's no fun!
erika: i'm glad your back! *kissed*
jake: i'm glad to be back! so what did i miss at school?
erika: well tessa and tony are officially dating, it was so cute to anthony made a little scavenger hunt for tessa and at the end they ended up at the football field, with candles roses and a little tent !
jake: dam.... my little toner all grown up (pretending to cry)
erika: well i'm just happy to have my blondie back *hugging him close to me*
jake: well it's good to be back
erika: speaking of which how did you get here?
jake: my mom drove me from the airport, here. *looks at the time* and we are going to be late for school if we don't hustle
erika: gimme a sec i just have to do my hair
jake: okay i'll be down stairs!
jake pov:
i missed erika like crazy all week. i didn't tell her i was coming back this week because i want to surprise her. but this won't be the only surprise that i have up my sleeve *smirks*
pam: what you smirking about
jake: oh i just have a grand idea
pam: and what might that be?
jake: erika and i's two month is this week and i'm going to surprise her, also homecoming is at the end of the month and i have an idea about how to ask her but i'm going to need your help!
pam: i would love to help you!
*pulls into erika's driveway* looks like we are here! have a great day at school hun
jake: i will thanks mom!
i walk to erika's front steps knock on the door. dan opens it
dan: jake what are you doing here? aren't you supposed to be coming back next week?
jake: no my mom mixed it up logan is staying an extra week, i was only staying one week. plus i missed erika and couldn't leave her hanging on our two month.
dan: that's my boy
jake: is erika awake?
dan: yeah she's up in her room getting ready
jake: thanks dan
i ran up the stairs, turned the corner into erika's room and see her laying across her bed on her phone. i walked over
jake: rise and shine my little goat!
when she turned around she jumped up wrapped she arms and legs around me tightly as if i was dying or something. we stayed like that as she caught me up to speed. once she did i let her finish getting ready and i headed down stairs
dani: JAKE YOUR BACK!!
(dani is 7) she ran over to me, i picked her up and swung her around
jake: yes i am little D, what are you up to?
dani: nothing much just cheer *sigh*
jake: what's wrong?
DING!
dani looks at her ipod and throws it across the room.
jake: what's the matter dani?
dani: nothing
i put her down and kneel down, i hold her hands.
jake: dani it's okay you can talk to me
dani: i want to but i can't
jake: and why is that?
dani: cuz he might hurt me
i was getting worried now
jake: dani who might hurt you?
erika walked down the stairs
dani: charlie
jake: charlie who?
dani: charlie the bully
erika: someone is bullying you?!?
jake: dani, tell me what's going on and i promise you nothing is going to happen
dani: okay...um...well when i was first new, i made friends quickly and this boy kept on tripping me in the halls, taking pictures of me posting them and he..he would call me names
i was fuming, but i could tell dani was upset
jake: dani come here
i put my arms out and she buries her head into my chest, and starts crying i rub her back.
jake: what grade is he in?
dani: my grade
jake: dani look at me *i wiped her tears away* i won't let anyone hurt you, and i will take care of this okay?
dani: okay
jake: well i have to get to school see you after?
dani: maybe i have cheer
jake: when?
dani: um...please hold
she runs to the calendar and runs back
dani: 430
jake: okay tell angle i'll bring you
dani: really?!?
jake: really, well i better get going bye dani
dani: bye J
erika and i walked to the car hand in hand.
erika: well that was quite the morning
jake: yeah it was
erika: so your really gonna take dani to cheer?
jake: yeah, why not *smirks* i could totes do it (mocking erika)
erika: hey! i don't sound like that
we laughed it out.
