Shit. I was running a little late getting to my airport terminal to board my flight. I'm taking a trip to visit my family in Korea, since I'm currently enrolled in my final year at a Canadian boarding school practicing culinary. My family was gathering together to celebrate my cousin Hoseok's birthday, he's been so busy preparing for his comeback he's had basically no free time. Yes, my cousin is BTS' angel and sunshine, JHope. I'm not too informed about the whole Kpop-scene but I do listen to their songs. Fake Love snatched me.

Anyway, I needed to be already through security 20 minutes ago. I thought I'd be fine, but there was a swarm of screaming, raging girls currently blocking my path.

Was there some kind of celebrity or something I should've known about?

I struggled to get through the sea of people, getting dirty looks and shoves from the girls in my way. One girl I accidentally bumped into, who I should mention looks to be in middle school, glared at me and muttered, "Bitch."

I looked at her and rolled my eyes. I don't have time to deal with immature tweens right now. I quickly proceeded on, pausing when I heard a group of girls whispering excitedly about some 'Mark Lee' guy, but I couldn't be bothered enough to listen further as I was going to miss my flight.

Finally I made it through airport security and customs. I heaved a breath of relief and exhaustion as I collapsed onto a seat near my gate. That was the most exercise I've gotten since freshmen year gym class. Note to self: hit the gym.

After catching my breath, I looked around me. Sitting closer to the windows was a family of 4, I smiled at the sight of the young girl and her little brother laughing and playing with each other. Further down the row of chairs I was sitting at, I noticed two girls roughly around my age giggling to each other. They were both staring intently at the phone one of them had that was pointed at a guy seated at the row parallel to ours. I furrowed my eyebrows at the girls before looking back at the guy.

The guy had on a yellow beanie, a mask on top of it, but some of his dark brown hair peaked through. His eyes were shut as he listened to music playing through his headphones, leaning back on his travel pillow. Damn, that jawline. I couldn't help but gape at the attractive guy before shaking my head and coming back to reality.

I looked back over to the two girls and saw that they were taking a video of the guy. Um, what the fuck? That's weird as hell. I stood up and walked in front of the girl's phone. She jumped back in surprise before shooting me a death glare.

"What's your problem?" She asked rather harshly while standing up to meet my gaze face-to-face.

I raised my eyebrows. "My problem? What's your problem? I'm not the one taking videos of random sleeping dudes. How old are you anyway, shouldn't you be with like a parent or something?" I scoffed.

The other girl, who was still sitting down, stood up alongside her friend and responded, "We're 16, we don't need to hold our parents' hands anymore. Geez. And don't act so innocent, you probably just want to gawk at him to yourself. He's not yours, asshole."

My face contorted in confusion. "What? What are you even talking about?" I took one glance at the guy who, thankfully, still had his eyes shut and didn't notice the commotion.

The first girl rolled her eyes. "Cut the act. You can't seriously tell me you don't know who Mark Lee is. Are you that stupid?" Mark Lee, the guy I heard of earlier? Why's he so special? I just stared at the girl with a poker face and her and her friend gaped at me. "You're being serious?! He's literally famous!"

I nodded before bluntly saying, "I've spent my 18 years on this earth doing more than pining over some celebrity. I suggest you do the same, and stop being a creep and taking videos of sleeping guys. Seriously, it's weird." I turned around to walk back to my seat with my luggage.

As I sat down, I looked back at the guy, Mark I guess, and saw that he had sat up and his headphones were now around his neck. He was looking right at me.

Shit, did he listen to any of that?

He stood up and looked as if he were going to head in my direction, but fate stepped in and we were finally called to board our plane. I quickly rushed into line, hoping to have a quiet and unbothered flight home.

Yeah so this is my first fanfic. Sorry if it sucks, this idea literally came to me while I was lying in bed bored out of my mind. I'm not a writer so I apologize again if this story sucks. Updates will come regularly but I don't know yet how long this will be. Please let me know what you think so far and thank you for reading!
