Mark's POV

I observed Mina as she slept peacefully on my shoulder. The way her long brown hair fell over her face, the way her nose twitched as she slept, and how she mumbled incoherent words from time to time. Cute, I thought. I smiled at her, being glad that what I saw back at the airport wasn't some false act by a fan.

Don't get me wrong, I love all my fans, but sometimes the life of an idol becomes tiresome. You're not sure of the people you meet, and it seems that most people want something from you. It's rare to find someone who doesn't know who I am and is genuinely kind. When I saw Mina standing up for my, it warmed my heart and I immediately took an interest in the girl.

I took out my phone to see the time was 3 A.M. I figured I should also sleep, since if I show up to the airport with eyebags, Taeyong will scold me. I leaned back in my seat, being careful to not move and awaken Mina, and shut my eyes.

Mina's POV

I slowly opened my eyes, feeling refreshed after getting some sleep. A masculine scent filled my senses, and when I tilted my head I saw why.

I slept on Mark's shoulder.

Mark was asleep, with his head tilted up and his mouth slightly parted. I took notice to his sharp jawline again. I carefully removed myself from his shoulder, with heat rushing up to my cheeks.

I yawned and checked the time. It was now 10 A.M., so we should be landing in Korea any time now. I looked back to my side and a pair of warm brown eyes met mine. Mark smiled at me before speaking. "Good morning, how did you sleep?"

"U-uh fine, thanks." I stuttered thinking about where I woke up. "How about you?" I observed with parted lips as he took off his yellow beanie and ran his hands through his dark hair before placing it back on. Does this guy not realize how sexy he is? It's almost effortless.

"I slept great, that was some of the best sleep I've had in a while." Mark responded, still smiling. Does this kid ever not smile? Every time he smiles I find myself staring a little, but quickly catch myself.

Suddenly, a thought popped into my mind. "Thank you for earlier, Mina. You're not like most girls."

Did I dream that or did he actually say that? That would mean he did see me and the girls at the airport. How awkward.

A flight attendant came by and handed us some coffee and breakfast. We thanked the woman, and made light conversation as we ate. When it became silent, it was a comforting silence. The pilots made an announcement that we would be landing, and I took out my phone to inform my family.

After a short time, the plane was on the tarmac and people around us started to stand up and shuffle forward. I stood up to grab my carry-on, and Mark, now wearing a mask, did the same. We were both in opposite aisles of the plane. I looked over at him to see him looking straight back at me, and I blushed slightly. I moved forward and exited the plane, Mark was somewhere behind me in the mess of rushed people.

As I walked through customs, I saw no sign of Mark anywhere. My face fell and my heart slightly panged. Well, at least I can remember our time on the plane. I don't know what I was expecting, this guy was some celebrity and he'd have no time for a nobody like me. Just look at Hoseok, celebrating his birthday 3 months later. I looked to see a text from my dad saying that they were right outside of customs. I skipped by the baggage claim since all I brought was my carry-on and made my way out the doors. I halted where I stood and took in the chaos in front of me.

If I thought the whole mess in Canada was bad, this was much worse. There was a girl in every available space, and the sounds of their screaming was almost deafening. Every few girls held a sign with 'Mark Lee' or 'Saranghae' on it.

Seriously, what does this guy do?

I squinted my eyes and scanned the vast area in search of my family. Who was I kidding? There was no way I was going to find them in here. I had to shove my way forward, getting jostled worse than in Canada since there was a narrow, maybe 2-foot wide path for me to get through.

The screams got twice as loud and suddenly all the girls rushed forward, causing me to be shoved hard from behind and lose my footing. I shut my eyes tightly as I braced for the impending impact. It never came as a pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me against a chest, a familiar scent filling my nose. I looked up to meet familiar brown eyes. Mark looked down at me with concern, "Are you okay?" He scanned me up and down. I gave a quick nod, for some reason my voice was failing me.

"Mina!" A deep voice called for me and suddenly a strong hand grabbed my arm and dragged me through the swarm of girls. I frantically looked behind me in search of where I just was with Mark, but I couldn't see past the mass of girls. After we emerged and made it outside, I looked up at my father.

"Annyeong, appa." I said while hugging him, just now realizing how much I missed him. We both made our way into his car, and we started on our journey home. I leaned my head against the window, thinking of the proceedings of the past day and thoughts of a warm smile and chocolate brown eyes filling my head. A frown etched itself onto my face as I realized they were thoughts of a guy I'd never see again.

Mark's POV

I watched as Mina got dragged away from me. I moved to follow her, but girls immediately filled the space she previously took up. I looked around and found my manager hurriedly making his way towards me. I met him halfway, and we both exited the airport together. I climbed into the van and was met with 3 smiling faces.

"Markipoo!" Johnny exclaimed while giving me a side hug. Haechan and Jaehyun, who sat in the back, greeted me as well. They asked me about my trip, and when I fell into thoughtful silence Jaehyun asked me what was on my mind.

"Well...I sort of met a girl." I answered and told them about Mina. Johnny and Haechan shared smirks and mischievous smiles.

"Are you gonna ask her on a date?", Haechan questioned. I considered the idea before realizing something.

Fuck. I never got her number.
