Upon reaching the second floor, Aneko dropped my hand and turned around.
"Word of advice." she clasped her hands in pseudo innocence " distance yourself- as much as possible" I was confused. What had I done?
She just smirked. "If I were you, I would get out of here. God speed." She's trying to scare me off. of course.  I gripped my suitcase and hugged it closer to my stomach. "He's clingy,
trust me. People used to think we were twins, and when I denied, it he'd throw tantrums" Aneko's face turned soft, almost sympathetic. Her eyes no longer stared at me, and she was now gazing at the floor. "Eventually, I started to ignore him, shun him. Cruel I know" she gave a sad chuckle, "guess that's why he hates me so much now." She looked back at me, her eyes still in  a rare state of kindness. As fast as it came, it was gone. Her face snapped back to the classic Aneko smirk. "So, are you leaving, or sticking around the for the show?" I felt like that all the mild disrespect and condescension had built up for this moment. I gathered my luggage and stared her in the eye.  "You put on a really good show. Where's my room?"

I don't know why I was so angry at Aneko, she didn't do anything significantly rude. I'm not sure if she did anything rude at all, but the way she tried to scare me pissed me off. I sat in the middle of a large room that made me feel like I didn't belong. It was simple decor, thank god.
