I've been thinking of changing the name to Abomination, what do u guys think? and i need help with the cover if anyone has any ideas :D i encourage you to send me samples of ideas you may have. i know i should've done this earlier but i'm going to start dedicating my chapters to my fans. Chapter 20 - Stone Cold Rock Solid

PART ONE

Reneesme's P.O.V.

 Waking up the next day I should've felt replenished and refreshed but I didn't. I guess Jake had more of affect on me than i thought. Slowly sitting up I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, glancing around. Tristian was still asleep his arms wrapped around Anna's waist while Claude's arms were wrapped around Anna. Eli was banging his head repeatedly on a tree while Ellie was pacing back and forth. The rest of them no where in sight. Soundlessly making my way around the sleeping trio, I went outside to see what was happening. Life with these guys always made you on edge. I've never seen them fully relaxed before. But, what do I know. What do I know. I've only known them for about a day and a half, maybe. I know that they're all half vampires and shifters, and I know their names, but that's about it.

"It's not all that fun." Ellie said rolling her head to the side to look at my confused face. "Knowing about us, I mean."

"Oh." I replied lamely. "Where are the others?"

"Fey and Ralphe are out hunting. And I have no idea where the other two are ... but I smelt that bastard when I woke up, so I'm guessing Phia's with him since Cain never came back into the cave." Ellie said blandly, spitting out Seth's name like poison.

"If you know where most of them are why are you pacing back and forth while Eli's banging his head?"

 "Some stuff happened last night." she said shrugging her lean shoulders.

"What hap-"

"We'd rather not talk about, if you don't mind. I'm going to go hunt now. Link me when everyone gathers." she said waving her hand at me then gripping the back of Eli's head whispering something into his ear. With that, she shifted into a graceful ash wolf and sprinted off into the surrounding forest.

Several hours later, I was fully fed thanks to Eli. Fey roasted the doe that we caught and we happily ate it around our cave. Who knew Fey could do fire just like Cain? Ellie hadn't come back from her run yet and Cain was still nowhere to be seen. Everyone was getting stretching their muscles getting ready for the run we when heard someone's voice "-no way! I can't believe that you fought in the battle to protect Nessie. No offense, but you're, well-" I glanced up to see Phia gesture to all of Seth.

"Hey! I take offense to that." Seth said placing his hand over his heart as if it hurt.

Ellie's P.O.V.

After that disgruntling talk with that mutt I was more than happy to get away from him and get some sleep. Waking up the next morning I wasn't as pissed but at this point anything could've set me off. As the hours ticked by and the sun rose up, i saw my pack mates wake one by one. Cain never came back last night and Phia was already gone. Taking that well needed run I was glad to get away from all of Reneesme's questions. Not that I don't like her, it's just that questions she asks are a little too personal.

Shifting, I wandered around the area trying to catch Cain's scent. Minutes turned to hours when I caught something that was sickly sweet and reeked of blood. Vampires. The Cullens were near by, which was odd considering Nessie was still with us. Picking up the pace I tracked down the freshest trace of blood there was. Coming to a halt by the river Eli, Phia, the Cullens and I 'played' at I saw someone sniffing the ground. Their noses were pressed up against the ground and their tongues scraping the dirt for any remains of our blood. From where I was I couldn't get a good view of the vampire's face. So, I purposely snapped a twig to catch its attention. Not even a millisecond later its head jerked up and my eyes met with the most crimson red eyes I had ever seen in my life.
