Sorry for the late update earlier. ): I'll try to update on time (:

Here I go: Chapter 7 - Introducing Alpha Phia.

Claude's P.O.V.

About 5 minutes went by as we made our way through the dense forestry. Each stride, leap or jump Phia took, I felt her muscles bunch up and release under the palms of my hands. I ran my hands through her dark blue black fur, feeling every part of her as I could. I loved how she was Blue and black on top but her underbelly was snow white as were her legs. It looked like she was wearing a coat. Get it? A coat, I crack myself up sometimes. I chuckled at the thought and sighed. Phia looked back at me worried. I gazed into her honey golden eyes and told her my clever little joke. She barked a laugh with a hint of sarcasm. It made me smile that even if it wasn't funny..... to her, at least she made an effort.

After running through the forest for what seemed like hours I decided to look up for Phia's fur to see how far we'd gotten. The landscape was slightly different from before. Trees were more spread out and the streams and rivers were more visible now. Every couple feet I saw little animals scurrying away from us. I guess they knew what Phia was. Seeing if I could catch another glimpse of the animals I turned around. Almost immediately pain coursed through my entire body. What I saw behind me horrified me, there was a trail of blood coming from behind me. It gushed from the cracks in the newly forming scabs on my back and wound its way down Phia's legs leaving a blood trail, to whomever wished to follow us and finish the job.

"Oh, damn." I whispered.

Turning to face to front again I placed my hands on both sides of Phia's shoulders and let the darkness consume me.

Phia's P.O.V.

I thought it was always weird that I knew exactly where the clearing was, because I've never been there, but it seemed familiar. The smell, the trees, even the animals seemed familiar. It was like deja vu. I reminisce a bit longer until I heard something fall to the ground. I quickly spun around to face my attacker. I crouched waiting for the enemy but I didn't see, hear or smell anything different or out of place. I slowly stood out of my crouch and looked around again, but more slowly this time. That's when I noticed it. Claude was on the ground.

Claude's on the ground? Wait, isn't he on my back?

Turning my head back to look behind me, for the first time without Claude there, I saw dried up blood sticking to my butt fur, making it clump together. Putting two and two together I crouched next to Claude. From where I crouched I could hear his uneven heartbeat and irregular breathing, as well as smell the continuously oozing blood. I quickly looked back at the direction of the clearing. It wasn't more than a couple hundred feet away. I quickly picked up by the back of, the remains, of his shirt and hoisted him back over my back. When he was securely on I booked it out of there, howling as I sprinted. The pressure on my healing wounds increased and started to bleed again, my shoulder was healed but in the wrong spot, which hurt like hell every time I ran.

When the clearing came into view I threw back my head and howled again and again. I strolled into  center of the clearing and layed down, waiting.

Cain's P.O.V.

After meeting up with Eli and the others we jogged back the vampires' house. When we reached the front lawn, I caught a glimpse of their place, a whistle escaped from my lips.

"Gotta say, nice house." I said commenting on how enormous the thing was.

"Thank you." the sun looking one said.

Once we got inside the bronze haired one was tackled by 2 females, one with straight brown hair and one with ringlets of brown hair. My guess was that one was his mate and the other the sister of the mate. When all of filed into the living room the introductions were made.
